Drawing a heart shape to represent the tongue receding into the throat is common enough especially in cuter art styles that Ive seen several times before, but Ive never seen an artist use the imagery of the heart to their advantage like that.

The "un, deux, trois" counting is from the Ten Duel Commandments, and the scale at Angelica's section is from her song, Satisfied. It's not the next song in line, but I'm dying to see you react to "The Room Where it Happens" from Hamilton. And I know people love the animatics (I do too) but when this song comes up I HIGHLY recommend you watch a clip from the actual musical (If that's even possible with the copyright claims). Leslie Odom Jr, who plays Burr does an EXCELLENT job in this scene and the choreography and visuals are amazing. Hands down one of my favorite scene from the whole thing.

As a past 'busy' person, I used to not balance things at all, I was busy and that was my life. But it took its mental toll and I was too busy to even realize that at first. Now I've grown and I've learned to take a moment to assess myself and my limits. There is no way around it if you want to stay healthy. Back to this song though! I can tell you're really listening in on the lyrics and the complexity of melodies in this song. I'm sure Lin would be more than happy with your assessments!

Balance question: Coming at you from a graduate student who happens to be a Satanist. There are a bunch of rules about Satanism but one of the ones that I resonate the most strongly with is the rule about choice. You make a choice, you don't complain about the consequences, you own them. As a graduate student, my life is consumed by succeeding at my degree and paying for said degree. It's pretty expensive and soul crushing. The balance is a social life. I make sure to set aside time for something resembling a social life. I'm going out for lunch this Thursday for St Paddy's with a friend from my graduate cohort. We're going to drink and enjoy ourselves. Then we're going to sober up, go home, and do homework. It'll suck to return to homework, but I accept that consequence. On Wednesday, I visit family for dinner. I could just stay home and do more homework, but I accept the pile-up on Thursday because the balance matters. I will never bitch about how tired I am on Thursday because I know that my Wednesday nights keep me sane.
