He said in his Patreon live stream last night that he might have it released on Spotify, when a Patron made that suggestion. He sang live for us a cover of an Avril Lavigne song, and then sang snippets of requests during the hour live stream. I think he misses touring, like many artists.

Mitch is half Italian Jacob, so are u right ? it's pronounced Italian/European/Latin like the Word Grasso. Mitch's full name is Mitchell Coby Michael Grassi. Grassi is a common last name here in Italy. It's always such a Joy when PTX comes to Italy, there are concert Clips of Mitch talking about his Family and heritage here. He also has a crazy Uncle Tony like every Italian kid, lol.

Thank you for reviewing this. It’s so beautiful & it does really suit his voice. He played piano & synthesiser on this as well. I adore his voice. Love your reviews ☺️ Oh and he’s got an EP about to be released under his “Messer” name, all original songs I think......so when that’s released please please review it x

His last name has ‘ah’ sound , Grah-see. Mitch sings from a deep place in his soul with listeners drawn in close and captivated by every line. This cover has a beautiful melody with meaningful lyrics which suit him so well. When a person exerts power over another in a relationship, it can quite literally squeeze the life out of them! Profound issue confronted with the lightest vocals. Mitch did post it to his channel. The first post in 7 years! His description box said he did the vocals & music!! Look at Jacob being just like Mitch Grassi!!

I find it interesting that in the beginning the story was that ptx did their own arrangements, and now it’s kind of official that Ben bram does them. I think it’s probably a collaboration. This song, and tbh a lot of the superfruit output, indicates that the ptx members are quite skilled not only in the performance part but also in arrangements (and some also in mixing choices)

Mitch as usual is mesmerizing but the lyrics iin this song are very disturbing as it implies an adult abusing a child or am i mistaken what do you think ?
@Karen-Campos3 жыл бұрын
@john warwick This song was written by Billie Eilish and this is what it said on Genius Lyrics, “The song recounts an abusive relationship Billie Eilish had when she was 16 and how it affected her. In an interview, she confirmed that the song isn’t about a specific person. Billie hopes that this song can spark change and reflection.” I have a feeling Mitch may have experienced something along those lines for these lyrics to resonate with him.

I would like to know more about the lyrics. Billie is cryptic about the auto-biographical aspects to allow the listeners to overlay their own experiences and meanings. She only says it is not about anyone in the music industry. Is the “power” age and experience or position in relation to under-aged romantic relationships with an older person?

This is beautiful and I like it a lot, but I'm having the same problem I had with When the Party's Over. They capture the beauty, and it sounds wonderful, but they're not capturing the delicacy and vulnerability that Billie has in her voice, and I end up missing that while listening. So because of that I still perfer Billie's version.

He's a professional musician who not only reacts, he also analyzes the music. He does this on EVERY reaction video he produces, and Jacob is actually one of the best at it. Those of us who have musical knowledge appreciate what he does and says. Maybe you should just watch the original video and not spend time on reaction channels. Reaction channels REACT...thus the name.
