I highly suggest Goodbye to a world by this artist (porter robinson) the vocals in a way is kind of a vocaloid but it fits perfectly with the song! On the topic of vocaloids i suggest you watch the vocaloid named Flower! A few songs i suggest is Just life, vividas, and nirvana! (keep in mind flower is just the robotic singer and didn't write the song)

I love Porter Robinson, they make fantastic music! Shelter was a great one! This was fantastic to see. Though I'm throwing these suggestions here again, suggesting Voices from derivakat and also Injustice from CG5 for the dsmp folks. Though for myself I'm suggesting some FFXIV songs being Dragonsong, Tomorrow and Tomorrow, Civilizations, and Close in the Distance. They're all great songs, you might need to listen to a lyric video to get the words but they're so worth it, and very touching for a lot of people, containing their own stories.

I have a Cuphead and Mugman song recommendation called *CUPHEAD RAP SONG ► Cover by Caleb Hyles "You Signed a Contract"* by *Fandroid music/Griffinilla This is one of my favorite songs it has a really nice catchy beat to it and is over all just a joy to listen to. The choirs is just them listing some of the wacky monsters they fought but it’s timed perfectly so it doesn’t sound choppy, anyway I really hope you end up doing this.

Hooooly crap! I was just thinking of recommending Porter Robinson! Porter's music was miraculous for my mental health. Hell, the entire Nurture album is a journey of recovery for Porter's mental health and it really shines through with how comforting the songs are. Porter got me through a very deep and dark funk where I couldn't find joy in my passion anymore. Two songs specifically from this album really picked me up and I highly recommend both of them. Those being Something Comforting and Get Your Wish. I'd personally say you should listen to Something Comforting first as that seems to be the most popular one. To me that "I'm still here. I'll be alive next year." sounds like a proud statement and a promise to himself. Not only that, but words to live by for all of us who struggle with metal illness. Also, it's interesting you mentioned Japanese vibes since he's hugely popular over there!
