Susanne Sundfør is a exceptional musician, who has been working for a long time ( she is the generation of musician before Aurora from the west coast of Norway) she is not mainstream, but more experimental - but you should hear more of her - Undercover - When the Lord- Sound of War ( by the way she have a fantastic haunting voice ❤️❤️❤️)

i discovered this singer through her collab with Royksopp. Wonderful, silken and winelike is how i would describe her voice. Something to fall into.

We watched the PBS Masterpiece series “Atlantic Crossing” and just marveled at the theme music which featured this incredible voice I had never heard. So intrigued I searched the song “When Will I See You Again” and discovered Susanne. How this artist was kept a secret from the United States audience is criminal but not surprising given the controlled nature of the music industry these days.

She has collaborated with Royksopp a lot.They are so great together.Songs like running to the sea,stay a while,and others.

The Piano is a Kawai electric upright from the 80's, similar to the Yamaha CP series electric grand but in upright form.

I recommend to listen to more Susanne. She runs rings around all other Norwegian artists, Aurora included. Songwriting and voice are like no other

you already have reacted to this video. why again this one, was it deleted? why not "the brothel" live at cigalle or "undercover"? i was bewildered to hear the term of "lack of power" in her voice because damn, that lady HAS a lot of power in her voice. you just picked the wrong version of this track because the sound of this particular recording does not do her justice.

I think here the recording doesn't do it justice because susanne sundfor does have a really powerfull voice wich on other songs is more obvious, i feel like it was diluted in the whole orchestra here

I think you’re trying to say her music is a little disjointed. Listen to more and you’ll see what I mean. She is not allowing her music to be produced in a way that is more palatable. But she is a very interesting artist with a unique voice. I would think in the vein of Kate Bush.
