Beware of the fancam of the Band-Maid/Warning collab because it has resulted in copyright strikes for reactors. The quality was not good either. Band-Maid released a 30 second teaser which is OK to use. The best version is a full screen version posted on Twitter by the bandmaid account on June 12. It will no doubt get an official release later in the summer.

Other songs are about appreciation for their fans. This is about each other. They've really ground it out for over 10 years and they've stayed together all that time.

Masters Chris and Sam...it's been a while. This was a collaboration with Mike Einziger from Incubus. He supplied the intro/outro rifts and the rest was Kanami, although I heard he did make suggestions to the composition. The lyrics were done by our favorite Pigeon, Miku. You were on the same wave length, in regards to "radio friendly" and the appeal to non-hard rockers as an intro to the Maids. Exposing the Maids to different channels of the music world...and then have them discover the rock sound of the Maids. Since this was a collaboration piece, the Maids sported "Angel Armor" instead of their normal "Maid Battle Armor", Saiki explains the choice in the "making of" for this song. Band-Maid opened for Incubus on 5/1/24 in Japan, where they played it live for the first time. Mikey-chan joined them and played with them on the live debut. Later that night, they released this song on YT after the concert. Mikey-chan watched it premier with the Maids. They were rocking their Maid Armor for the Incubus concert and the Zepp Haneda Day of Maids show...so I don't think they are ditching the Maid Armor anytime soon. PO!🕊 🤘😆🤘

That melody through out is probably Mike as well as the whole chord structure. Mike provided the bones, the ladies put skin and clothes on it. 👍

@@jeffersoncosgrove1910 Maybe...but based the "Making of Bestie" video, Kanami mentions Mike came up with some cool rifts and she arranged and then corrected herself and said composed it. I can't remember the exact origin of intro/outro rifts and some input throughout the creative process came from, maybe one of Miku's or Saiki's radio interviews? Or maybe it was at the Day of Maids concert MC? Whomever did what, it's a collaboration and they did a great job. PO!🕊

This song was a collaboration with Mike Einzinger from Incubus, so you can definitely feel the Incubus vibes. I wasn't sure if I liked the song at first but the more I listen to it, the more I like it. MISA really killed it and Kanami's solo was awesome. Rumor has it that Kanami will be debuting her own signature PRS soon. Avoid the Warning collab unless it's the official 30 second clip that BAND-MAID released. The poor quality illegal fancam has gotten a bunch of reaction channels in trouble.

Was fortunate enough to see Band Maid & The Warning in Tokyo. Both bands played my fave song (from each band). The Warning returned to the stage and both groups closed out the nite with the live debut of their collab. Best concert ever! dbl ♥

This was a collab with Mike Einziger of Incubus, who they met while touring America. Band-Maid opened for Incubus in Japan earlier this year, and Mike Einziger came out on stage and played this song with Kanami. The opening and closing riff is very Mike Einziger, so I gather.

This song was written with Mike E. (Mikey-chan) guitarist from Incubus. Couple months back he came out and played the song with them when the Maids opened for Incubus show in Tokyo. There is YT videos out there of that show. Now..... as far as the Maids and Warning show, there was a video taken and was released on YT, but all those who posted reaction videos were given a strike. Someone from the Warning camp, I believe, took phone video and wasn't supposed to. The song is called "Show Them" and done with all 8 members and its live video should be released soon, there were cameras there. How come you’re watching the video with Korean subtitles? Lyrics for this song is all in English and you should’ve checked the subtitle language beforehand 😅

You guys really missed the point of this song. It's in English so I thought you'd understand. It's about their relationship to each other, now after ten years. They are Besties now but that has taken 10 years

So their collab song with the warning will be on their cd this summer. There is a yt short of the song if you want a taste. The leaked fancam version has been giving people copyright strikes but the yt short is safe. It’s called “show them.”

If you want a new Band Maid song to review "Protect You" should be released on 07/05 or /07/06. It's a new song they did for an anime that is releasing that day in Japan. The Band Maid/The Warning collab was very good, the fancam is not very good quality and there's a chance as mentioned below, you might run into some issues with the authoritay! Bestie is a great song, very catchy, radio friendly, yet still Band-Maid. If you are looking for something to check before then, try Hitsujibungaku - Addiction (Japanese grunge/alternative band)

Bestie, in the vein of other great mid-tempo Band-Maid songs like Daydreaming, About Us, Memorable, Anemone, Endless Story, PAGE, Wonderland, Awkward, Start Over, Mirage, At the Drop of a Hat and Smile, was co-written by Michael Einziger of Incubus. MISA's playing and bass tone are setting new standards... and Akane's drumming is so in-the-pocket and distinguishable... and Kanami's solo is Daydreaming masterful! The recording and mix are as enjoyable as the song and beautiful MV! And Miku’s English lyrics are heartfelt. Is Band-Maid a band of fashion-forward, trend-setting Besties? 💞 Thx, Mikey, Band-Maid and Chris & Sam! FYI - The Maids just released a "Making of Bestie" on their websites where they explain the song and look of their awesome MV.

This one is a change-up for Band-Maid. It's a collab with Incubus' Mike Eiziger. Miku wrote the lyrics *entirely* in English. This is an ode to lasting friendship and as such they decided to ditch the dark maid costumes for a lighter look. If you're expecting one of their hard - rockers, this one is on the sweeter side.

You're right, no song from Band Maid is ever indicative of what may come next. There's a teaser for another new song 'Protect You', for the TV anime 'Grendizer U' that will be released early next month and it's very much in the mold of their other anime songs.

If I were you, I'd go with the safe one. That was the official 30-second teaser Band Maid posted on their social media. The unsafe one got some reactor's copyright strikes in the hours after they reacted to it.

The best part about this song was that it was written to show appreciation to each and every band member, entirely in English. I feel like you guys need at least a little background of each song for Band-Maid because it makes each song more meaningful.

I take another listen to this song about once month. I don't think it is ever going to click with me. I find myself just focusing on Misa's bass playing. Never heard of Incubus. After hearing about the collaboration I took a listen, just meaningless corporate rock. As memorable as a lukewarm McDonald's hamburger. Oh well the Maids have about 130 great songs. They one of the few bands that I have top five lists for versions of the same song.
