What’s so great about this interview is that they are finally doing an interview with someone who can finally understand what their talking about speaking their musical language and letting them talk about their instrumental background

Hi Vaya.... I too feel they have received some unfair reviews mostly from non- musicians who really don’t know what they’re talking about. I believe these guys are the real deal and wanted to give them the chance to answer some legitimate musical questions. Thanks for sharing your thoughts... best.....Joe
@HamiltonRb3 жыл бұрын
I don’t think they are keeping rock alive, there are several world class rock bands still out there like Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters and Chilli Peppers, and GVF has opened for a couple of them

They may be young but definitely old souls. They are very in tuned with who they are. & It manifests out into their music. I love 1960/70s music & era & it's amazing that they have created a bridge to the classic rock energy for everyone to enjoy esp the younger folks who weren't around during that time to experience that type of energy the music scene had back then. 🤘🏽🙏🏽✌🏽❤️✨

Joe - this is a really very relaxed and enjoyable interview with the band...! As one of your contemporaries, your thorough knowledge of.music, and rock music in particular (throughout it's kaleidoscope of sub-genre!) is very informative, and leaves my mind space to soar, musically and poetically..... I particularly enjoyed hearing each of the guys talk about the individual relationship they have with their primary instrument. And indeed, the rapid progression of their instrumental virtuosity is amazing, and a testament to their musical heritage and work ethic. As a closet drummer, Danny in particular has really raised his playing to a much higher level! More variation of the groove - loving the variable eighth note syncopation...... This is a really good band formed in the crucible of your and my generation, now bringing real rock music back to the fore. Thanks again - keep on rock'n brother!! Tom Mueller Tampa. ✌☮

I was lucky enough to be 2nd row at that show in Melbourne when they switched up their instruments, it was absolutely phenomenal, everyone was so excited to be there! Jake was stellar on the harmonica, at first everyone thought he was going to sing when he stepped up to the mic but then he pulled out the harmonica. He played that while also playing guitar and they busted out an epic blues style instumental jam, I really hope they do more of that instrument switching in the future! The cherry on top was that they also played Anthem both nights there for the first time at a full concert, you can check out my shaky recording here on KZbin (shaky because of all the singing and dancing, it's hard not to) Thanks Joe for the fantastic interview, I'm off to watch the 3rd one now!!

At time 7.00 RE confidence: I think they exude confidence because they all have been doing this for a LONG time - plus, they are technically experienced each in their individual skills. It’s not like they have become popular and skilful overnight - these young guys have put many many years into perfecting their skills - and no doubt copping some criticism along the way. I take my hat off to their commitment.
