Currently 2022, Angelina is 6 feet tall, always barefoot for performing, sews hear own clothes and has the most gorgeous voice in the artistry world of music. She has done most if not all of her own arrangements since the age of 8 years old❗ I see nothing other than greatness in her future 🤗

This performance really shows how much her voice has developed. She sang Fly Me To The Moon on The View at age 8. That was a memorable performance, that was raw talent, this is fully realized talent. Another Angelina performance that defies words.

She's singing in the Big League right here, these are top tier professional musicians and sound engineers etc.. not just anyone gets to step up to that microphone, and at 12 and she's killing it. Quincy Jones had nothing but the highest praise for her.

I'm happy you did this one, Maunalee! This was a very big moment for Angelina getting to sing for Quincy at his 85th birthday celebration in London's O2 arena. She shared the stage with some very big names that night. She said in an interview later that this was the highlight of her life so far. I don't know if the AGT golden buzzer surpassed that or not, but I have a feeling this night singing for Quincy Jones still holds more importance to her as a music lover. What always amazes me about this one is how she can stand up there at 12 years old in a room full of seasoned musicians, and just own the room. She is truly one of a kind.

I would bet that many of the seasoned musicians, upon hear her sing, grasped immediately that they were witnessing the voice and delivery of a once in a lifetime talent. They might have left the stage volunteering to play with her again for free just to be able to say at some time in the future...."i was on stage and playing in the orchestra for the super star Angelina Jordan when she was a teenager"

I too was thinking how frightening that practice session would be for anybody, especially someone as young as Angelina was, and yet she was able to do her usual effortless, perfect performance. She not only has the talent but also the skills and mental strength of a professional entertainer.

I beg to differ. This is a band put together for the occasion. The LSO use St Lukes, where this rehearsal took place, for their base normally, and that is why you see music stands around with their markings on them.

That is the richest and smoothest version of this song I've heard yet. She NEVER does a song exactly the same way twice. A Brilliantly "in the moment", original, experiential, interpretation every time, and she does it without forethought, she just turns it on the moment she starts singing. That one thing alone, is AMAZING

AJ was invited by QJ to open his 85th bday concert by singing FMTTM. this is obviously the rehearsal .she sang for him a cappella in a private setting. he just shook his head and said " so much soul " told her the whole world " will know your name " then he starts introducing her as his daughter to his fans at interviews...angelina said she was stoked...the dress she wore when she performed had a long sash and he penned a personal message to angelina on it...

In the actual concert Angelina opened the show, and at the end when it came to taking the bows, Angelina was to the right of Quincy, and the conductor was on the left. When Quincy bowed he saw that Angelina was barefoot, he was surprised, he was worried about her. For Angelina that was a very special day! I hope we get her to perform in London again soon!

She is just professional, her voice beautiful and pure jazz! Age doesn't count anymore, everscince she became eleven I think! The smart connection between music, emotion and lyrics is complete! People expect her to get better! I would not know how! Maybe less humble and more contact with the audience in between songs, if she performs live! He said a song they did in the mid-70's, prior to their Saturday Night Fever songs was, in his opinion, the greatest rhythm n' blues song he ever heard. It was called, 'Fanny, Be Tender With My Love'. Listen to it ! All three of the brothers can be heard applying falsettos in it, which in of itself is mind boggling.

Thanks, I hadn't seen this one. My first thought is that was really tight for a rehearsal. They don't need another, they're ready to go on stage. The band was very good. Punchy but not over-assertive. It's great fun to see her do this one again to see with a specific example how her music has evolved as she matures. Her young performance was remarkable but unsurprisingly this was far more sophisticated. And very happily as she transitions into a full adult voice I am enjoying everything about it even more.

Some fun background. This was a rehearsal for Q's 85th birthday celebration at the O2 Arena in London. As a 12 year old, Angelina opened the show, performing Q's arrangement for Frank Sinatra and Count Basie. It's been reported that Q took her under his wing during rehearsals, called her his "youngest daughter", and said she's the best new talent since Michael Jackson. There's some rough home video of the concert, and you can see how they bonded.

Of all the great performances Angelina has done, this is one of her best. It is absolutely flawless. I cannot hear even one single mistake. It is perfect to the degree of scary, to be honest. And it still boggles my mind how she isn't more famous. If she was American she would have been. There isn't a jazz legend in the world who could have done it any better than this. In fact I challenge you to name one! I truly apologize for my English here. I should have written "If she were", since it is a subjunctive mood!
