The film clips were from the Sing Off Tour which was the Feb/Mar after the Sing Off was shown. This was their 6th or 7th official video, and was released in late April that year. Tim's ability to replicate a large stringed instrument is as remarkable as Adam's drum kit, IMHO. Adam's repertoire is larger, but Tim's plucked string/running bass is marvelous.

Someone said Home Free doesn't do covers, they do up-grades. I agree. They're all vocal chameleons, their harmonies are unmatched and Adam's' beatboxing is incomparable. In the scene at the end where everyone is at a table, the woman in the white cowboy hat is Tim's mom. I love watching their series "From the Vault" - the behind the scenes filming of the videos - the people doing so must feel they're herding stray cats . . .

The clip at 3:58 shows Rob dancing with Heat Box. He a great beatboxer from Minneapolis who’s filled in for Adam Rupp when he was out for the birth of his first child. I saw Heat Box open for Boyz II Men and he was great. He’s also in the video for Chris’ group 7th Avenue for their Maroon 5 Medley, along with Elliot Robinson who was the bass for Home Free before Tim.

This is a cover of a One Direction song. If you want to hear The Sing Off they have their new album As Seen On TV. Which is the 10th anniversary of them being on The Sing Off with the song they sang on the show. If you enjoy the behind the scenes you need to watch a From the Vault video. You're right! They love to sing, and they love to sing together -- long time friendships have lots of glue holding these arrangements together. The set looks to me like the set used on the post-show Sing Off tour. I could be mistaken about that. Loved your comments, as usual. You and Jillian are so much fun.

Perfect analogy with the cello. Other professional singers analyzing his voice have said that Tim has very good "vocal fold closure" in his low range, which is rare for a bass. Usually the voice sounds breathier as they get lower and lower. But Tim's voice cuts through so well especially live. Great reaction!

HF will be releasing their "As Seen On TV" album in a couple of weeks with all of their Sing Off performances. So far, 4 videos have been released, Pretty Woman, Life is a Highway, Stand by Me, and Cruise. My favorite video is Life is a Highway, favorite song is Stand by Me. The vocals on that one are amazing. You could watch their Sing Off performance and then watch/listen to the new version in the same reaction video. Thanks for reacting to our guys.

Adam taught Tim to do some of the drum sounds when they did the Butts Medley so that he could take over when Adam was scratching for the live shows. He also taught some of the other guys a few beat boxing techniques for the live concerts because for a long time they didn't use a loop machine and despite what some people think, Adam only has one throat lol

You might to like to begin pairing a “From the Vault” video with its final product. You get to see more of their personalities and the videos are usually hilarious. In this particular video, I saw a clip from a live show where they did a segment on “guilty pleasures.” I’m sure someone has already mentioned it (maybe me) that the videos coming out over the past few weeks are from their to-be-released any day now album in which they revisit their songs from the Sing Off. Some reactors are doing the Sing Off version followed by the new version to see how much they’ve grown as musicians.

Nice seeing some of the background scenes of their time on the road & their concerts. They were so good then but have only gotten better. And this song is fitting as it shows part of "the story of their life".

Great reaction! I think this was all scenes from the Sing-off tour that they went on after winning season 3. I wish they still did the skits that were so popular when Chris Rupp was with the group. Some of them are in this video. You can catch a few of them on YT that fans recorded from their live shows back then. 😊

Good reaction. The cello analogy was perfect, although I always thought of Tim as the bass string instrument (the name of it escapes me...), but the bow part was spot on. The Sing-Off Tour consisted of Home Free, The Filharmonic (HF'S & Filharmonic's rendition of I'm Alright from Caddyshack is a must-see!), and Voice Play. Somewhere in KZbin Land there's a cellphone video of a "Beatbox-Off" (from the Tour) of Adam, Laine from Voice Play, and Nico of The Filharmonic.
