Muhammad , indeed , didn't plagiarize the so called Torah or the bible because these booms back then didn't exist in Arabic . They were translated in Arabic much after the Islamic prophet . So , you are making foolish statements . Also , had Muhammad to plagiarize the bible , he would have plagiarized without any correction of the stories of the different prophets mentioned in the bible and the Quran . Also , the Jews of Arabia used to recite the bible in Hebrew . So , there is no way that He could have plagiarized the bible .

Allah and we do believe in All prophets sent by God! not just the 25 mentioned in Quran, as a matter of fact Allah told Muhammad (pbuh) in Quran that there are prophets i didn't tell you their stories, so we as Muslims believe in all true Prophets sent by God even the ones not mentioned in Quran , like Isaiah he is a known prophet in Torah not mentioned in Quran but as Muslims we must believe in him.

Plagiarism means following word by word. God in the Quran says Torah is his revelation to Moses for the Israelites. So we have the core of the Torah in Quran. Plagiarism, NO. Because we have extra message not in the Torah. The Quran is the Last Testament for mankind. The other revelation God says in the Quran is the Injil, the Gospel of Jesus, NOT gospel of Mark, Luke, Mathew or John. We know their gospel are not their words but of the Pagan Greek- Romans thru Paul. Muslims kept to truth. But Christianity goes against the teachings of Moses

Judaism has the Mitzvot and Islam does not, as Rabbi says it has the Tahweed which is absolutely strict about monoteism and everything which encompasses. Islam is a lightweight Judaism let's just say, but the teachings are the same. I don't like the proselytizing aspect of Muslims, and as far as I know it's not in the Quran. Otherwise yes, I'm sorry for the Christians that keep blaming Muslims about antisemitism and doing wars, we the christians are the ones who invented antisemitism. The Torah expressly declares that the punishment for adultery, which is a sexual relationship between a married woman and a man who is not her husband, is the death penalty. That said, the standard of evidence needed to carry this out was so high, the death penalty was rarely carried out. Moreover, the great court of 71 judges that was on the Temple Mount had to be in session for any capitol punishment to be decreed. We have not had such a Sanhedrin for 2,000 years. A Jewish court that executed more than one person in 70 years was called a "killer beth din." For Jews, the penalty's severity, instead, conveys the seriousness of the sin.
@aw6029
@aw6029 4 жыл бұрын
Tovia Singer almost the same as in islamic law. In order to convict someone of adultery they have to go to court and bring 4 eyewitnesses. The eyewitnesses should have seen the act (caught them red handedly), not just seeing 2 persons enter the same room or other things. If they go to court and fail to bring eyewitnesses, they will be lashed instead of the accused.

@@ToviaSinger1Great work you are doing Rabbi putting the truth under your tongue and lying to Muslims that their book is the word of God, just because you want them to love and accept Jews, and of course because you hate Jesus and Christianity (you actually used more than half of the time disparaging Christianity). You want the Muslims to shift their focus from hating Jews to hating Christians since the Christians are your mutual "enemy ". The hate is very obvious Rabbi. It is a psychological tactic and it is understandable. The only problem is am not sure God will approve of your office to engage in that kind of deceitful warfare, and it is clearly not working. You made this video more than 7 years ago, yet Oct. 7 still happened. It appears they are still not buying into this deceit and are still bent on eradicating all Jews from the river to the sea. And that is irrespective of the Muslim that it might be. Black, white, Chinese, Asian, Indian, Arab etc. It is a mutual hatred of the Jews and these your lies and deceit to make them love and accept you is not working. What else can you do? I must also point out that the Rabbis and Jews of even the time of Mohammed never said all these things you are saying. They never accepted Mohammed as a prophet of God, neither did they accept the Quran as the word of God but you need them to love you, and to focus on a different victim that you both have a mutual hatred for, which is Christianity so you lie and pander to them. Again, what else can you do Rabbi? What more trick can you pull Rabbi? O tell you what, whether you like to believe it or not, the only solution for peace for Israel and the Middle East is JESUS. Without the love of Jesus in their hearts, the Muslims can never love and accept Jews or Isreal. The same thing applies to you. Without Jesus in your hearts, Isreal can never know peace. That is the Messiah. When you all have him in your hearts in the Middle East, then you will clearly see the Messiah that you have been thinking has not been with you. Then it will seem to you that he has just come.

The way you see the gospels is the way I see the Torah. I really don't mean offence, but you posted here so I'm going to try to politely respond. I'm not going to ask you what parts of the gospel's you believe can only be divine, because I know it's more complicated than pointing out a single verse, I would say the same about the Torah. I'm not going to say that the gospels' teachings took already known Jewish teachings, because that would be hard to prove without really looking into Jewish teachings. But what I will say, is that many teachings that are acclaimed to the New Testament are in Jewish Law today, or other Jewish writings, either in the same form, or different. To list a couple of examples, the idea of the Satan exists in Judaism, but it is not the same thing taught in Christianity, it was taught in the oral teachings, but they never believed Satan was a deity, but rather a device of temptation and freewill that was deliberately put in every person so that they may have freewill and still choose God and have worth. And the teaching that you can be punished by lusting, is also in the Jewish Law, but it is not called adultery, but the idea is the same. Anger is also forbidden in Jewish Law, and so on. And so hypothetically, if Jews did not believe in the things that are taught in which are good things in the New Testament, they believe in those ethics now and have for a while. I believe they always have believed in the things that I listed, to list a few, and I have no reason to believe otherwise, that was just a hypothetical statement. I hope that you continue to study both sides, because even if you disagree, it is a learning experience. God bless!

The final answer is , that Muslims borowed passages from both the old and new Testament , to make everybody Happy , and to maybe Convince the people of the Book , to join their Final Messenger... It's ridiculous... Yes Muslims believe in One God , but Still Believe in the one who is called by those same Christians , the living God ( Jesus ) ... Thanks Rabbi Tovia, that was an excellent explanation. Islam means Submission to God/Allah. Allah is an Arabic/Semitic word that means God. Adam(pbuh) & Eve(Hawa-Gbph), Noah(pbuh), Abraham(pbuh), Ishmael(pbuh), Isaac(pbuh), Jacob(pbuh), Joseph(pbuh), Moses(pbuh), Jesus(pbuh) and Mohamed(pbuh) were all Muslims. In Arabic, a Muslim is one who has Submitted to God at anytime in history, today and tomorrow. Pharaoh, Nimrod, Polytheists, Atheists and Animists are NOT Muslims.

Its funny that a Muslim asked a rabbi instead of a ustad but then again, its his choice whom to ask. Btw Muslims never plagiarize anything. The Holy Quran is the direct revelations from Almighty Allah just like the Torah and the Injeel. Its the scribes and the pharssiees that change it. “Do you (faithful believers) covet that they will belive in your religion in spite of the fact that a party of them (Jewish rabbis) used to hear the Word of Allah (the Tawraat), then they used to change it knowingly after they understood it?” [al-Baqarah 2:75]

Mohammad died when the poison he ingested began to kill him and he was heard to exclaim to Aisha that it feels like his Aorta is being severed in a Hadith Ibn ‘Abbas replied, “That indicated the death of Allah's Apostle which Allah informed him of.” ‘Umar said, “I do not understand of it except what you understand.” Narrated ‘Aisha: The Prophet in his ailment in which he died, used to say, “O ‘Aisha! This Rabbi has one very big and important mission: Make Muslims love and accept Jews by telling Muslims what they love to hear. (1) That Islam is the true word of God and Mohammed is a prophet of God even though the Rabbis and Jews of even Mohammed's time never said so (2) That the Quran is true and it is the word of God (3) That Jesus never existed and that Christianity is false so Muslims will not come to the truth of the love of Christ. The question anyone should ask the Rabbi after hearing all these is that why has he and all Jews not converted to Islam yet since Mohammed is the last prophet of God? Why are they not worshipping Allah with the Muslims? What the Rabbi is clearly doing is inviting more trouble for Jews because Jihadis will come for them one day asking them to convert to Islam since they know Mohammed is the last prophet of Allah 😂!

hmmmm did you know Islamic caliphate brought back Jews to Jerusalem when they found out Christians massacred them... The Caliph Omer famously forced no Christians to convert and even refused to enter churches for fear that they might be converted into mosques by over-zealous Muslims. After the Muslim conquest, Jews were permitted to return to Jerusalem and it is no secret that prayers for the welfare of the caliph were recited in many synagogues in the region. The Arab Caliphate famously protected the buildings and religious rights of all monotheists in Jerusalem

mohamed is the last prophet and the last messenger. Idolatry is the sin of the people of Israel, that paved the way to understanding the mind of Gd. When Mohamed entered Meca , he had destroyed all the statues. why were people requesting of a stone, such great gifts of life? The Lord is your rock ... Here is a story f the death of a Gdess by the hands of mohamed's mighty warrior; Khalid bin ln-Walid; When the Messenger of Allah conquered Makkah, he sent Khalid bin Al-Walid to the area of Nakhlah where the idol of Al-`Uzza was erected on three trees of a forest. Khalid cut the three trees and approached the house built around it and destroyed it. When he went back to the Prophet and informed him of the story, the Prophet said to him, "Go back and finish your mission, for you have not finished it." Khalid went back and when the custodians who were also its servants of Al-`Uzza saw him, they started invoking by calling Al-`Uzza! When Khalid approached it, he found a naked woman whose hair was untidy and who was throwing sand on her head. Khalid killed her with the sword and went back to the Messenger of Allah , who said to him, "That was Al-`Uzza!” genesis 6, states all these "foreign things" .. .. 4 The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, whenever the sons of God came to the daughters of men, and gave birth to them. Those were the mighty men of old, men of renown. the Torah reinforces the gods of the past. the Qran as you see does too. when books of Gd states births of semi gods and death 'f LIVING Godess, it should humble us down a bit

The real difference between Islam and Judaism is that Judaism came from a society of slaves that were despised in Egypt. Egypt was a feudal empire with vast agricultural production. The Hebrew slaves rebelled from the Egyptians and left to be free in the Land of Israel, a land rich in milk and honey, but poor in agricultural production, as there was no Nile or Euphrates rivers to provide fot great irrigation and fertility of the land. The Hebrews lived mostly from their flocks, and, at least for several hundred years, they had no worldly King, as a King was seen as another Pharaoh, another symbol and functionary of feudalism. Islam arose out of the Arabian peninsula where food production was very challenging. People lived from their flocks of animals and from whatever agricultural production they could scratch together. The only way to gain wealth was to conquer others possessions and their means of food production. But this is the model of feudalism. A strong king, a warlord gathers armies and lands and amasses huge power and means for food production. And virtually all feudal societies also use religion to unite their populations for this cause of gaining more power for greater food production and food security. This is why in Islam jihad is so important. Jihad is much more than a spiritual concept, it is the basis for expanding wealth and security through feudal conquest. But again, Judaism is the opposite. In Judaism conquest outside of the Land of Israel has no meaning or value. This nation of former slaves from Egypt wants only to live on the Land provided to them not by a Caliphate or conquering king, but provided by the only King they truly acknowledge, the King-Creator of the Universe. Before this King all people are as equals, and conquest, domination, and accumulation of vast wealth is meaningless.

Did you just say Haman and Pharoah?????? That's a historical error on part of the Quran you twit!! They lived 1000 years apart! You just refuted your own Quran! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! The Egyptians didnt call their rulers Pharoah. Pharoah was the name of one ruler but the word was put in the Hebrew vocabulary to mean ruler or king. It is used interchangeably. So it became a Hebrew word. The Egyptians didnt go to their rulers and say "hey pharaoh." We just call them that. You can see in the Torah "pharaoh" and "king" are used interchangeably. That's how Moses (peace upon MY PROPHET AND MY FELLOW ISRAELITE. He has nothing to do with your cult.) wrote it. It doesnt matter what time period. It's the language we use. It means King or ruler in Hebrew. And you know what's hilarious? According to your logic, the Quran is wrong as well. You do realize Surah Qaf aya 12-15 says King of Egypt was called Pharaoh (the list in chronological order) at, or before the time of the ("brethren of Lot"). Lot and Abraham lived in the same time period since Lot was his nephew, In any event, these "brethren" lived before Joseph. "Before them was denied (the Hereafter) by the People of Noah, the Companions of the Rass, the Thamud, The 'Ad, Pharaoh, the brethren of Lut.." I'm not going to mention his name but this was said to a big Muslim youtuber. He had no words. How about you guys do your own research instead of listening to your apologists? Zakir Naik is a moron. Ive called him out in real life and he didnt want it. I've had many debates with Muslims irl on science in the Torah and the Quran. Lets just say I won all of them. I can get deep and profound into the topic but it's a lot to cover. I do it in real life. You talk about the body as if it were a fact. There's no evidence the body is the same one that Moses confronted. I have also spoken on this with Muslims irl and we have gotten deep into that. So say another stupid thing and you're getting blocked, morons. Btw if you're Sunni I dont really consider you Muslim. I think you're a Kafir. Shia have the true caliphate. The Quran has stories from Christian apocryphal writings and Gnostic texts as well. This is because the Quran is not from God. Whoever compiled the Quran seemed unsure of what was considered scripture by Jews and Christians and did not know much of a difference between the mainstream groups and the fringe ones. To your point about Athanasius and the Christians of his time formulating the Trinity: I haven't found any evidence that any of them were trying to do anything besides make sense of the scriptures of the Old and New Testaments and pass down what was handed to them. However, while they weren't trying to import paganism into Christianity intentionally, they were indirectly and directly impacted by Greek philosophy. I would be careful to draw a sharp line between Greek philosophy and Greek paganism (all though they are of course, related, they aren't synonymous). Philo had a huge impact on their thinking. Yet if we give a careful reading of Justin Martyr, Tertullian, Origen, etc. etc. we will see that they did not believe in the Doctrine of the Trinity. Their beliefs are best described as "subordinationist unitarian" but still "unitarian" nonetheless. This seems to later become Trinitarianism by 381 officially and by the time Augustine became a Christian it was the standard view more or less. Paul was teaching to live in a manner relateable to people so as not to put a stumbling block in front of them and add baggage to the Gospel. It's kind of disappointing that you'd look at Paul as evil in these words. Then again, I am convinced Paul was an apostle and Jesus was the anointed Messiah of this age and the age to come, so obviously we will read Paul differently. I'm enjoying your videos. Thank you for your time and your gentleness as well as your willingness to not beat around any bushes. Looking forward to listening more. Take care.

Please share ur evidence that the Quran was influenced by apocryphal and other Christian writings. Also, are you implying that the copied texts in question are not from God either?

@@RaghibMorshed There are stories which mirror Gnostic and infancy gospel stories such as Jesus speaking in the cradle and giving life to clay birds. There are also stories from Jewish apocryphal writings. The story of the young men in the cave and Solomon and the ants I believe. I will double check for you and list the exact sources later when I am free.

This is completely idiotic, if Qur'an is copied from Apocrypha, it cannot get the fact that Pharaoh called himself god correctly, this is not in any apocrypha or any writing until we discovered it recently.

@@LargeBanana Whether this detail is included in the apocryphal texts or not does not make the entire suggestion "idiotic." This is just berating people to discredit them and make ad hominem attacks to make them not seem reasonable. It was standard belief and practice in ancient near-eastern civilizations for the king (or Pharaoh in this case) to be viewed as a god or as a demi-god of some kind. This is not some secret detail or bit of knowledge that the Quran could only have gotten right if it were sent from the one true God. It was just an everyday thing that most people knew then as well as now.

Isaiah 59:21 And as for Me (God), this is My covenant with them (the Jewish people who are mentioned in Isaiah 36:11 and Isaiah 36:13), said the LORD; My spirit that is on you (the Jewish people), and My words (the Torah Taurat) which I (God) have put in your mouth, shall not depart out of your mouth, nor out of the mouth of your seed (off-spring), nor out of the mouth of your seed's seed (descendants), said the LORD, from now and forever. Note 1. The promise of God that the Torah Taurat is protected forever. Note 2. God keeps His covenant promises forever.
