Alhamdulillah, Shaykh, it takes courage to even start these discussions. I appreciate the fact that you have been able to do this without any precedents to guide you. These are firsts for the ummah because never in the past 1400 years have we had to deal with these issues.

It is interesting to listen to this talk because as an Indigenous American Muslim, there is a certain context within this dialogue that is not relatable. For Indigenous American Muslims, "Western Culture" is their only culture and the culture of my ancestors. We have to become comfortable being who we are and not accept the narrative of the first and second immigrant generations as our own. Many of our ancestors have tried and many who embrace the faith now try to fit in with their counterparts who experience western lands and countries in a different manner than we do. It is incumbent upon us to deeply learn and understand Islam so that we can place our "western" culture, identity and lineage in proper context without divorcing ourselves from it for the narrative and context of our brothers who don't share our experience.

It's good that we have podcasts and discussions from other channels that bring different views and it breaks misconceptions that is more towards culture rather than grounded in the knowledge of the Quran and sunna.

True, Sheikh. And sadly social media algorithms as well contribute big time to the creation of those echo chambers and bubbles.

That’s why love this guy. This kids who claimed they have these different types of sexuality urge completely learnt from the society nothing but absolute life styles. They just learned from what they’ve seen & heard then it became normalized in their minds. The rest of the ummah were sleep & steal sleeping. This war has been going on for long time destroyed the Christian & Jews families now it’s coming for us. If you grow up watching & witness as a kid anything later in life that would be normal. Even we have Quran still the poorest minds of most around us b/c simply we can’t focusing on what’s important🤷🏾‍♂️. Freedom is dangerous thing when you don’t know responsibility!!!

If I was a scholar I would have tried to act as Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him at the start of his Da’wah. For 13 years or so he only focused on building the community in teaching them the basics and fundamentals of monotheism

Assalamualaikum Thanks very much to the lecture. I appreciate and benefited very much. I just have a question. Is there no background music even produced by the podcast itself? The description says that there is no music, but I am a bit worried that there is actually music from the podcast itself (not saying it's wrong to have background music, but I am saying that if there is, then I believe that the description need to be corrected) Jazak Allah Khair

You think LGBTQ is the main issue, what about the issue of riba of which Islam apparently has no solution other than the co called Islamic mortgage banks who primarily have to deal with the conventional underwriter and his bank before releasing the loan but no one wants to talk about it. Needless to mention what Islam says about involving in riba based transactions. And Allah is all wise and knows better.
