that tune sounds great. Just watching you can hear it's not as sluggish. I would be interested in how the tune will hold up long term and the average mpg over the course of a few weeks too before I would get the tune myself. Nice having the instant torque but not really needed for my purpose with the 4Runner.

One of YotaWerx's R&D trucks was first tuned when it had approximately 216k miles on it and had over 260k when it got supercharged. The truck with various test tunes was put through its paces with a lot of testing so that the community doesn't have to worry about it failing them.

I got it done on my 4Runner. Not only do the throttle more aggressive but the torque is abundant. It pulls so much harder and it just wants to keep pulling. I also have a Catback and it sounds different too!

I put it on my 19 4runner ORP. Didn't do anything at all and there was no map for shift peramiters. I had it put back to stock and reinstalled pedal commander. Drives and shifts smoother with PC.

The 2010-19 4Runners don't have shift tables for tuners to adjust in the first place, only 2020+. Reach out to YotaWerx Tuning to discuss your experience with the tune because what you're describing is absolutely out of the ordinary and not in line with what the tune does for these trucks. Which tune version did you try? Pairing the appropriate tune version for your vehicle's setup has a larger importance than one would expect.

I tried weekend warrior and the one above that. Both felt different and both wanted to not hold gears long enough. Seemed like they were in a race to get to 5th and then once there I had to smash the pedal to get it to downshift. It would stay in 5th at 30 and slug its way up. This guy even said he didn't notice anything on his truck in the video. And the other guy is regeared 🤷‍♂️

I just watched it again and if you're referring to the time he spent driving in the truck, he did not say that he didn't feel anything unless I missed it. As mentioned before, there are no shift tables available to tuners for the 2010-19 trucks. But tunes pair very well and are very beneficial for drivers, and they can tie a set up together very nicely with other modifications such as tires and even a regear.

Pedal commander is a scam. It does absolutely nothing that your feet can't do. A custom tune will give you more hp, low end torque, better shifting points, reduce input lag customized to your rig's weight, tire size, gears. A certified tuner will have Dyno specs showing the increase in power

@@inyermouthbaybeh that’s my point - there were no dyno specs in this video just a comment that shift points and throttle response is improved. My Pedal Commander already does that by reducing signal lag a bit making my sluggish 4Runner a bit more “driveable”. I didn’t see or hear any claims of torque increase or HP increase with this specific tune

You can get a tune for 87 or 91. The 91 route isn’t much better than 87.

With all tunes, It is really dependent on the driver. If you drive like a grandpa, you can see 1 or 2 MPG improvement.
