For a car under warranty. How can I do these mods and not affect the warranty? Can I save and deactivate these changes whenever I bring the car to the dealer for service? Will it be detectable that bimmer codes were used?

For the X7, auto start stop can only be coded on 2019-2022 model years and only if iDrive software version is before 03/2023.

Is there a coding program where you can have the car drive in reverse with the driver door open so when you’re backing up, can you have the door open to look?

Need help. ! Am I missing something here?? I got this to disable stop/start like all of us, I selected “active” for the 2 option on the start stop, code it but nothing… still shut down the engine, need to turn off ( orange light)… turn off the car, back in the car, nothing stay (orange light ) on start stop… driving the car again still shut down at the light… Am I missing something? Thank for your guidance. 1:1

No, this does not void warranty. You are simply changing software options that are available from BMW in other markets and/or models.

Doesn’t work with 2019 X7… after spending $$$ for bimmer code and OCB bs… nope, start stop crap still there, ok for the rest but the main purpose of spending $ and coding was for the most annoying feature to be gone… but no, $120 later can’t do the job.. and yes I know about the sport mode.. Just a waste.

Really? Mine has been working fine since the coding. Have you recently taken the car to the dealer? Maybe they updated the software or something .
