Places with high rates of homeless should issue these to people who can’t live in shelters. It would provide them with basic transportation (bike) and a place to stay warm and have some sort of basic security while on the move. In exchange the homeless who occupy these could work basic jobs for the city (i.e. sanitation, landscaping, etc).

I hope the energy from the solar panel also drives the motor you have attached to the tricycle. There is one thing I would like to propose is that you can also attach wind turbine on the four corners of your vehicle which will also give you more energy. Yes it might increase the weight as you will have to put on more batterybut you can always go for lithium batteries which are lightweight and will be able to store more energy. But I think the wind turbine energy can continuously power your tricycle so you don't have to paddle it any more.
@teslacoiler3 жыл бұрын
The problem is the same.... LAWS OF THERMODYNAMICS! If you place wind turbine on moving vehicles they will increase the drag resistance. If you increase the drag resistance, your electric motor will require much more energy to do the same job. Of course you also recover some energy more from the wind turbines..... but, guess what.... the extra energy required for running the motor is always substantially higher than the energy provided by the wind turbines because you have to convert the electrical energy into rotational motion (+ losses), than convert the rotational motion into linear motion (+ losses), than you have to deal with wind drag (+ losses), than you convert this wind drag into rotational motion (+ losses) than you need to convert the rotational motion into electrical energy again (+ losses)... there overall energy involved is the same, but there are many extra losses in the process so the overall energy balance is always negative!!!! Wind turbines may be used only when the vehicle is stationary (and stored inside prior to start the trip), but you always need to consider the extra weight. BTW... there is a way to properly use the wind on a moving object.... is called SAIL, but is not easily usable if you need to follow a road.
