Gwyndolin the Silent (the owl) is also really good. 2x AoEs and an A1 that can extend debuffs on a single target. Also brings Dec Speed and Leech on an AoE and Dec ACC if they have 2 debuffs and a team INC ACC on her A3 (and can steal Block Debuffs). I run her in Cursed set and am very happy with her performance.

Should be listed as Top 19 Mythical and Legendary champs, plus Uugo. I'm a 3+ year late game player (not end game because I don't push for it) and I have only the Epic and three of the Legendary (one fusion, two given out for playing the game enough), meaning I haven't pulled any of the top Legendary or Mythical hydra champs. One very amazing use for Mikage. If you're using Oboro on your team as a mischief tank. There's always that 3% chance her buffs get stolen. If this happens you can switch Mikages form and clear all the buffs that got stolen. Ive done this before when every buff including counterattack got spread to all the heads (usually results in a wipe from constantly being counter attacked by every head). Basically ended up working as a reset so I didn't have to scrap the entire run.

Budget builds always start with relentless or merciless. Assuming you don’t have those either just go for the stats you need and use perception and resistance gear.

Really good list, I am going to regear my Uggo in an affinity breaker because it sucks when he doesn't put on block buffs. Here are some champs I would add: Venus - put her in a cursed set and her AOE burn will produce big damage, put her next Cupidus and she does AOE remove buffs Teox faction lizard - I have him next to Sulfuryion, Krisk, and Nekkmo and he puts out bigger damage than Acrizia Mashalled - built for damage and he can put up big damage through the poison cloud Graazur - basically the defense version of Krisk with more damage

I think Nekmo is better than Eostrid. His Aura is useable. His A1 has a debuff that the hydra isn't immune to. A2 is Leech vs Weaken. I think it's a lot easier to get AoE weaken than leech on the team. I have Gnut and/or Sicia which can do weaken. The pasive on Nekmo speeds him up, which in my oppionion is more valueable than Eostrid doing a tiny heal. You'll get more healing from Nekmos leech.

@MtgJedi I was really impressed with her dmg. Nekmo brings different debuffs, no inc attack. We are in the meta of raw dmg dealers, so Eostrid is very valuable.

Hey Skratch…I do have Mikage in full protection because the A1 also gives a shield buff and with the A2 extending it made enough sense to give her the build as a preset for hydra. I run her along side Grand Oak (also full protection) and Maud. It can get nutty with two extenders

Androc can work on protection set is understatement...not many champions give more buffs than he does.

Venus poison is not that valuable in Hydra, so can you opt to use her A4 to cycle turns and get back to her A2/A3 even if the Hydra doesn’t have buffs?

Marius hits hydra so hard, he more than tripled my Hydra Brutal damage by replacing Michinaki with him. That was all I did. From 80-90 million to 336 million. The rest of my team is Uugo, Arbiter, R. Nergigante Archer, Eostrid and Grand Oak Paidrag for anyone wondering.

I started playing in march of 2021 and Hydra is a very difficult area for me.. my Brutal best is about 15-16 million. I have about 100 Leggos and about 90% of all epics. My issue is gear and the proper composition. An example of a team i use are Drex, mithrala, pythion, ukko, Gnut, ninja.. which will get me about 15 mil depending on the rotation. There are times I can never kill a head. I guess me issue is being able to do damage. or prevent my buffs from being stolen and spread or being able to provoke. i understand HEx, block debuff and provoking. Its just the damage and the consistency of the debuffs. and usually after this first key. im stuck vs Normal and Hard. Also being F2P make its difficult and having no Mythicals makes it even harder. I do have mikage i forgot about her.

i would strongly argue for sulfuryon. hes like the ultimate safety blanket if someone dies or a poison cloud ever goes up. add to that the turn meter boosts and the estup potential for damage dealers who want to have burns out there, i think he should be top 20. probably over duchess, tbh. unless you dont have firrol or shamael, i dont think duchess is that great in hydra. i have her and i stopped using her quite a while ago. would never take sulfy out of my nightmare team. i am on th efence about yncensa, i got her but she had already been fixed so that the poison cloud can no longer be extended. was wondering if shes still be worth booking and using, i guess ill take her inclusion here as a yes -.-

I've been playing since around 2 or 3 months after launch and I have 6 of these champs. Uugo, maulie, cardial, mythrala, geo and Lydia. Most of these champs are newer and I haven't bought anything other than gem packs for the past 3 years. I have 50+ Legos and 30+ void Legos but the amount of dupes I have is astounding. Even my first two Legos back in the early days were drexthar bloodtwin. Now it takes a miracle to pull who you want because the champ pool is sooooo watered down.
