@@brittreacts I lost my little brother in 1978 and in some ways he is still here with us in our hearts so this song hit home with a thud ...the strength Craig must gather from God to perform this song is unimaginable to me..we all owe Ricky Skaggs a huge thank you for convincing Craig to release this song so it could spread it's message of healing....this is the power of God in a visible form....so sorry for your lose...thank you for lifting spirits with your honestly adorable personality...Karl from eastern Canada🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Chris Stapleton was visiting his parents in 2005 and noticed his dad didn't say a prayer at dinner time (which was something he always did) and stored that thought in his head. Then one day Chris was waiting on Morgane to get ready and he asked what can he do while waiting. She said, "write a song". He wrote "Daddy Doesn't Pray Anymore" in 10 minutes. It helped me so much when my husband passed last year and I played it at his ceremony. This song by Craig surely helps parents to have faith that they will be reunited with their child.

Craig singing the song on Kelly's show is really heart touching. Disturbed has Hold On To Memories, which is about honoring those past. I lost my partner suddenly on Feb 1, 1998 and he still is in my mind daily. True love never fades away.

You definitely should watch his performance on Kelly's show after they came back from advertisement. It was so emotional and Kelly and Eva were in tears and Craig got emotional closer to the end. It is spectacular listening to him sing any song, but I love this one

YOU........are a breathe of fresh air. I love watching your reactions and that you're not afraid to be genuine. Craig Morgan is a wonderful man, a veteran and patriot. There's often a lot of things in life that are tragic and unfair, however, if you take a deep look through the eyes of Faith, God is at work in every situation and will bring good things through even the worst scenarios. We don't always see it, but I believe that He is always working. God bless you!

I was 18 years old on January 4, 1998 at 1:45am when my father passed away at home. I was a senior in high school. He missed me joining the army (he was a 20 year Air Force veteran) he missed my high school graduation, getting married, going into law enforcement, joining the post office as a letter Carrier…..he’s never far from my heart…… I miss him daily.

Classic talk show format where each guest comes on and joins the couch. They don't all know each other, which can make it interesting. Especially if Norm MacDonald is on the couch. Record industry has a pretty narrow view about what makes good radio. They are almost always wrong. There's a reason so many artists write songs of protest against the record industry, or change their name to a symbol. This is a great song. Hank Williams Sr., Dolly Parton, and Willie Nelson are other writers who have cranked out amazing songs in wild amounts of time. Ricky Skaggs is an amazing musician and human being, you should dive into that rabbit hole as well.

When God abandons you, ur left with 2 thoughts... 1) I'm apparently a horrible person and God decided to either ignore me despite all my prayers, or punish me for some unknown deed I did. or 2) There is no God I still don't know for sure which of these is true, but in my heart, I feel like I'm a good person, so I've been leaning toward #2 these past few years.

Actually the vast majority of my favorite songs are ones that are album deep cuts. Ones that are not radio singles/hits. I love them because they have incredible emotional depth and meaning. They're songs that make me think and move me to tears. I guess the record execs and radio programmers think they won't appeal to a vast audience. Not sure. But I do think it's a shame that more songs like this don't get radip play.
