Very thorough review of the new TW Pro Graphene infused polish and waxes. The discussion of the polish with the different pads was informative and stopping to show the actual results after using each pad tells us everything we need to know about the polish. Your lighting and closeups of the paint surface is clear and sharp like I’m right there looking over your shoulder. Thanks for going into all the finer points of using these new products from Turtle Wax. Looking forward to some follow up videos to show how long the waxes last.

Went back through this video. Looking at the Twax for my 2020 getting a make over. I scratched and swirled part of the hood a year ago but knew so little about care. Now i am buffing & polishing vehicles. I need to strip the seal & shine and do a proper paint correction. This video is fantastic. Miranda detailing has taught me so much < along with a few other detailers.>. Thank you for sharing your skills and technique.

WOW! I've been waiting for your review after watching Pan and Brian at APEX who highly praised and recommended TW PRO Once and Done, Mad Wax, and Flex Wax. I was really awed when Brian flat out said it is now his go-to product replacing 3D because it cuts as well as 3D but finishes the best by far and the price is simply unbelievable, I mean it is a business we're running. TW's new Pro Line products may have the power to change pricing throughout the industry depending on the volume of sales. Your results validated everything Pan & Brian said, I guess I'm going to call you guys the three Musketeers of Detailing, serving, protecting, and saving the detailers, whether they be DIY or Pros. :-) As always, I am so impressed watching the quality of your work and listening to your decision process as you work through the different pads, the different paint conditions; and how you explained how the product worked as a compound, polish, and finish by just changing the pad just as the label says, pad dependant. Once and Done really is capable of everything. Very little product was used, it's easy to work with, very little residue built up on the pad. I received the Max Wax and Flex Wax on Thursday and used them yesterday but after watching this video I learned three great tips on how to apply by hand and remove it using a damp and then a dry "Fluffy" towel really makes a ton of sense. I will try that tomorrow. Oh and I just ordered the complete $130 package from TW with the bucket and all after your INCREDIBLE video, always so much information and teaching. It's like I'm the Big Red sponge being dipped ONR, and I'm letting it all sink in. Great stuff and watching all the different challenges on this paint job be tackled by TW made me feel really confident again in the NEW Reborn TW. The Rupes tool is obviously a very functional tool and I am going to order it too. Thanks so much and it was fun watching the two of you working as a team. My last point is that over the last few years one thing has finally proven itself to be true in the ceramic world as it always was in the carnauba wax world, that is, maintenance. So now after living with and using ceramic products, longevity is not really an issue since we coat our cars and then we maintain them with weekly washes, toppers. Every quarter I will be reapplying the Flex and or both the flex and the Mad Wax and when I feel like using the Flex as a detail spray which will probably be every couple of weeks, I will! I like my cars and all the car that I work on to look new all the time. Most of the time I think I want it more than their owners.

Hi Phil. Excellent video. Turtle Wax sent me a care package with this new rollout. I haven’t tested the Graphene products yet but The One & Done is seriously awesome. I never thought I would reach past my 3D one for anything. The cut is so good and even on soft paint I haven’t seen any hazing yet. The wipe off is really good. On all my wipe offs I use a ONR dampened towel then a dry one, and I loved it. Turtle Wax is upping their game over & over and I think they’re just getting started honestly! I’m excited for them. @MirandaDetailing
@MirandaDetailing 4 жыл бұрын
Oh yeah totally. This compound doesn’t leave fillers or anything so they said you apply anything after using it. They did suggest an IPA wipe though. But I’m going to test that an see if it’s really needed or not. Usually spray coatings have less solvents in them so it’s not a problem to apply right over something without an ipa wipedown.

The best way to apply Flex wax as a drying aide is to use two or three sprays on the wet panel and then SPRAY INTO A DAMP MICROFIBER CLOTH and wipe it into the panel to get full coverage. Then dry as usual with another towel. No High spots. No streaks. I saw this on another KZbin channel and it is revolutionary. I love the idea of Flex Wax but it was a nightmare to put on. This technique makes the product usable again. You can spray more onto the panel and not have to worry about high spots. So glad I found that trick.

Hey Phill another awesome vid. The longer the better! What impresses me with you guys is you are not scared to expose your work. You shine high end lights on your work to expose every minute defect which is brave on KZbin with all these keyboard warriors. There's a lot of youtubers and I'm subscribed to a lot of them who like to show so called perfection in one area , but the fact is most people aren't prepared to pay for that and wouldn't even notice it without a high end light???. I'm sure you would have noticed most of these so called high end detailers only sell a paint enhancement product then overkill on KZbin to generate business. Please don't get distracted by the naysayers guys. I'm a weekend warrior , have a cheapo DA polisher and run the machine over my S3 and everybody wants me to detail there car at work, yet in a high end light paint is swirled. That's where the problem is too much clear coate removal for no xtra gloss. Keep up the good work guys here from Australia,

I applied two coats of Flex to my car yesterday. It was built January 23rd and I got it March 3rd. I washed and waxed it the morning after I brought it home. After I applied the first coat, I parked the car in the sun for an hour. I moved it back into the shade and give it 30 minutes to cool down before applying the second coat. The finish feels even slicker today. I used Einszet Glanz and Sonax NPT Hybrid for years. This is the first time I've touched anything Turtle Wax in probably 20 years and so far I'm sold.

Hi. The new TW scratch remover does come with a type of clear coating. It’s not a true clearcoat. It’s basically a ceramic coating type top coat that fills and protects. It actually works really well for minor scratches, deep scratches will have to be either wet sanded or they may be to deep to remove completely.

He also wanted to send me the Ceramic Wax Spray Coating, but I don't see myself switching from Gyeon CanCoat after they released the Evo. I polished my wife's car last week with TW Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Polish & Wax but after seeing you apply the Pro I think I'll do my car with the Pro One and Done. IMO you stated the obvious the Ceramic Polish is runny and tends to sling, it doesn't really offer much cut either. Brian from Apex compared it to 3D One and this shows it. My hat is off to you guys who do this in the cold. I washed my wife's and my car today in 45 deg. weather, it really sucked, I can't believe that I moved to Florida to escape the Tundra that is N.J. I have been using the damp towel with the TW Ceramic line and I am not a fan of this because it is still not a 100% "fix". I know it is fairly easy to do but still adds time to the job I am working on. Therefore I am hesitant to move to the TW Graphene line as cointinue with this process. I prefer a product that hazes whether over applied or applied just right... it will always buff off without issue.

Hi Phil great video, just wanted some advice please, am new to polising the car, question is with the one and done if you use medium cut pad is it nessary to the finish the car with the fine pad? Or do you think its not needed? The name suggest one and done butbis that becuase you need one product for cutting and polishing? Or is it litterly do it once and no more is required? Also do you need to use IPA to wipe off after?
@MirandaDetailing
@MirandaDetailing Жыл бұрын
Hi. That really depends on the paint. Most times using a medium cutting pad on majority of paint it will remove a moderate amount of swirls and finish so well that there is no need to use a softer pad to finish down. But if you use a heavy cutting pad to really cut out deeper swirls and scratches then yeah it does need a finishing/polishing pad to refine the paint. You only need to use a panel wipe if you’re applying a ceramic coating. Otherwise it’s not needed for waxes or sealants.

Nice job Phil, I'm up at the crack of dawn watching it. Amazing turn around on that truck. I like the way you kept saying that "This is the proper/recommended way of application & removal, deal with it." I think you spoke a lot of truth in the video, so Turtle Wax recommends a wet wipe off followed by a dry buff, who cares? Like you said it's part of the PROPER way of using these products. I know there will be some who refuse to follow the directions, then claim this stuff is crap. But then who's fault is it the products didn't work the way they were expected to? I for one can't wait until Spring when I can use this on my Camaro. I currently have the original Hybrid Solutions on the car. I haven't even washed it since July (I know, the horror), but the water is still beading on the top surfaces.

Ahhh. Yes that’s it. It’s not a hazing type product. Wipe on and off and that’s it. The Hybrid Solutions Products all work with water really well. So a even just a quick rinse or wash and rinse will fix the problem and then you can mist the Flex Wax as a drying aid and towel it dry.
