You lose a lot of low end power, get worse mileage, damaging to the engine, O2 sensor and converter. The Ghost tune advances the intake valve timing so the intake valve is opening before the exhaust valves is fully closed, it creates overlap and allows a good part of the fresh air/fuel charge to get sucked right out the exhaust port and that's why you're smelling fuel. It is ricer and just plain dumb to detune your engine all in the name of a lopey idle.

Well if you happen to own a mustang, don't put a cam tune on it if you are worried about those things.

@@nj7634 I'm a Ford guy but stick to my 408 Windsor, i have no use for cammers and VVT.

I do apologize for being too harsh and i can see you are not advocating the use of the tune for performance, just trying to spread the message to the young folks that everything is no always what it seems. Learn all you can about engines and how they work, knowledge is power.

@@maddog9659 Should’ve went with the 408 Cleveland considering the Cleveland motor was built to make more power than its lesser counter part the 408 Windsor not that the 408 Windsor is no slouch by no means but if you want more bang for you as ironic as it may be did you know the 408 Cleveland got its name because it was originally built in Cleveland Ohio where the 408 Windsor got its name because it was originally built in Windsor Ontario Canada
