Hey man question. I know a lot of the louder catbacks get extremely raspy when paired with LTHs (most notably the Corsa Xtremes). The Borla ATAK by itself is a little more high-pitched than some more quiet exhusts, but in this video it the combo seems to produce a really nice, deep, rumbly note. I'm just wondering if that carries over to how it sounds in person or if some of the rasp is lot on the video. Not sure if you've heard Corsa setups for comparison, but is this set up particularly raspy in real life, or does it sound pretty much like the video? Thanks. Love the car.

No worries man glad to try and help and to be honest you're right most exhaust setup have more of a rasp in person. However with this one having the cats it tones it enough to have no rasp and all growl and snarl. It sounds exactly like the video which makes it an even better experience in person! Lol

Are your SP headers factory connect and did you use the adapter with your catback that tapers down to 2.5" ? I have the same setup but haven't installed the atak catback yet. I thought about having O2 bungs welded into the borla connector pipes. I didn't know if that small section of 2.5" would make a difference or not.

Dave Mustaine so the way the mods were the car first got the Borla Catback and a couple months later got the jlt cold air and tuner tuned by VMP. Roughly 8 to 9 months later I added the stainless power headers and the gt350 manfiold and the car drives just as good as I drove it off the lot. That's why I give shout out to VMP all the time because the car drives so extremely smooth while just cruising and yet so raw and agile when you lay into the throttle.

Moctezuma M hoping to get a review possibly this weekend but have a wedding to attend so we will have to see! But as far as sound it's night and day. Hands down the best investment I've made so far. Highways speeds still tame and can barely hear it in 6th gear. But drop to 5th and it's ridiculously loud if you give it even the slightest amount of throttle. Cruising partial throttle isn't to bad can cruise past cops and such with no worry at all. However anything over 4,000 rpm and it sounds as if the gates of hell actually open up. It's to be honest one of the loudest setups if not the loudest setup I've ever heard on a bolt on simple setup N/A car. I love the ataks more then the Corsa extreme because the atak in my opinion have more of a growl and muscle sound. Compared to the high pitch of the Corsa. The atak paired with stainless power catted headers I would recommend to anyone. And as far as performance it's as well night and day this thing seriously pulls like a freight train it's a fast car for the simple bolt ons that are on it! Hope this helps till I can get a review up for you!

that guy from That 1 place my headers did not connect to the 3 ataks. We needed to cut them and re weld them because my headers stepped down to a 2.5 inch collector.

Yep that's correct tuning is required! It's super simple hit up the guys at lund racing and they will take care of you from start to finish!

Jasper Britt you sure can!! It actually calls for 91 octane at minimum from the factory. However the 87 octane won't hurt it but I only run 93 octane in mine to help burn better and try to keep the engine as can as possible. So to answer your question go for it! Run 93 if it's available where you live if not run 91 octane!!

Jason White I don't think it's raspy at all. When I think of raspy I think of corsa in the upper RPM Corsa has a raspyness and a crackle. For the Borla ATAKs they have a deep growl down low and more of a gnarly roar Up top in the mid-upper rpm. I can't take the car anywhere without someone complimenting the sound of it! I think if if you went with the ATAKs you'd be extremely happy!

foxxrider250r cams would 100% put her over 500whp the problems I have is and I've talked to my tuner Justin from vmp multplie times. The cams for these coyote are so expensive roughly 3-3,500k for cams and install. That's half the price of a supercharger kit. So for a die hard NA guy they are worth it and for me they sadly aren't. Also our stock throttle proves to be the most efficient and easiest to tune. Even against the bkk 90mm throttle body the stock one out performs it. Even on boosted applications guys utilize the stock throttle body because it flows so well. And the drivaility is amazing even at high horsepower.

I was just wondering about the TB because I saw someone talking about the Cobrajet TB flowing like almost twice the CFM as stock. Any particular reason you went with the gt350 mani vs CJ? Does it rev any higher?

foxxrider250r so the basic reason I went with the gt350 manifold setup which k understand is more money then the cobra jet but the driveability is the times better with the stock throttle body and the gt350 manifold. Both manifold will 8k revs all day even slightly higher 8,100-8,250 all day and the engine loves to rev. However Justin and talked and he said if the car gets trracked a lot and daily driving isn't a thing to go with the cobra jet. But if I want it to drive as close as stock form as I could and still have the power I want to go with the gt350 manifold. I love the driveability of this thing minus it being insanely loud if you were to drive it you'd never know the different it had a different manifold until you revd it to 8k lol. Plus my wife drives the car from time to time so sacrificing a couple hp like literally 4-5 hp for the driveability was a no brainer for me!
