Well, at least you will have your bike back soon! Panels will be an easy fix, 30 minute job maximum, whenever they arrive. Your experience has completely put me off from buying an F3 to be honest, it did cross my mind at some point but I think I will go for a Panigale instead when the time comes. Greetings from the UK. You have definitely been unlucky and frankly, I would ask for a new replacement bike under a goodwill warranty claim and if they don't then threaten legal action with all the negative publicity that would bring for the MV brand. Hope you find a good outcome soon.

I would not advise anyone buy an MV Agusta unless it's something you REALLY want. Their customer service is horrible and their parts delivery is sloooow so if you do have a problem, your love for the bike better outweigh the hassle of dealing with MV. I would not buy a silver-engined F3. The newer black engines are supposed to be more reliable. I would not buy a used MV off warranty unless you don't plan to ride the bike very often. Check the MV forum and talk to a mechanic at the shop you plan to get it serviced at. There are F3 owners who will tell you they've ridden their bikes and had no problems and they'll tell you not to worry about it but that is obviously not my experience. Good luck with whatever you decide!

I haven't heard of major engine problems with the Dragsters so you'd probably have better luck than my cursed F3. But the problem is when you do have a problem MV Agusta's parts delivery is so slow and their customer service is so bad it might sour you on the whole experience.

If you can afford one this means you have spare money or a really good warranty which will honor service issues. My advice? Don't buy the bike. 1) I would not recommend a silver-engined F3 800, based on my experience. Buy a newer black-engined model which is supposed to be more reliable (but we'll see) 2) If you have no dealer support, you will have a lot of aggravation trying to get it serviced - especially if something serious goes wrong. 3) You won't have a warranty. However, if you're feeling lucky, you really want the bike and you have a backup bike to ride when it's down - go for it.
