Really appreciate the quality of your videos Derek, clear concise and informative!

I will never understand why the hell such a bike doesn't have a steering damper from the get go. It's not like the MV Agusta are bargains and on the total price a factory installed damper wouldn't have made much of a difference on the price. Epic fail IMHO. I DO however appreciate this perfect installation walkthrough and this is my #1 source for modifications on the MV on the internet. Keep up the great work Derrick !

Nice video, you can fit the bracket to the triple clamp without removing it. You can just turn the bars lock to lock
@ESBKLife6 жыл бұрын
I've heard that but, the top triple only has 3 easy access bolts. Not worth the hassle IMO.

Damn dude, that is a friggen nice bike. The MVs are such pieces of art. I just got a 2020 Street Triple R and I'm loving it, I would still like to own a super sport some day, but right now just having an M2 and the way Ontario insurance prices are (most companies wont insure super sports) the striple is perfect for me. They had a LRH version which fit me perfectly.

No problem Barraq. Thx for watching man! BTW, if you get the suspension tuned for your weight and style of riding, then technically you don't need one. But hey, I like having it installed as well. :)

Sold my s1000rr over a year ago and still on the lookout for a new bike. I never thought about buying an MV F3 800 but after watching a few videos. I'm hyped on the bike. They look amazing and from what I've read on some forums they're reliable.
@ESBKLife6 жыл бұрын
Hey Micheal! I've only had mine a short time now and I'm very happy with the purchase! The only problem i've had thus far is the Sprag Clutch which I knew about when I bought it. Get a LifePo4 battery, keep her off the redline and you should be good!

Micheal Langan the newer ones 2016 up are reliable do not huy the older models no joke!
@ESBKLife6 жыл бұрын
Hey Flash, I don't necessarily agree with that broad sweeping statement. The 2016 and up models haven't been available long enough to make that statement and most if not all are still under warranty. In addition, I'm aware of several pre-2016 F3's that have had only minor issues. I think it's a reach to say stay clear of all pre-2016 models.
@VinnigsSpinTheBlock6 жыл бұрын
ESBKLife you ovviously dont know mv issues with the old models haha!! Engines leaking oil, clutch went out, bad batteries, quick shifter messing up etc. i know my italians. I know from personal experience my younger brother had bought a 14 675 all these issues and he contacted mv multiple times never got any help. He wound up selling the sucker. When it comes to bikes i know reliability cause i ride my bikes from tx to florida and cali. So i need reliability. Mv also had some no start issues bike would die on people. Plus mv was on the verge on being broke for a while until amg invested. Take a look at mv 2016 and up new engine case and color.. wonder why. Haha so yes i’d firmly tell people stay away from older models. If it has the newer engine case black which goes for late 2016 models if not mistaken, and up.

alright putting my bike together finally, does the long black bracket go on top of the silver one that is already affixed to the tank and replace those bolts w the loner ones or??? I had my tank off the bike for a month now and not sure if the tank bracket gets removed up front or what. Couldn't see in the vid just saw you swapped the short bolts for the long ones obviously
@ESBKLife6 жыл бұрын
Hey GunsCarsBikeCigars. Nothing is attached to the tank.lf you have the same or similar setup to me then there are 2 brackets. One semicircle shaped that mounts to the underside of the top steering yoke and one longer bracket that mounts the frame with two long bolts. Same mounting location as the tank. Get the tank in position then the bracket.
@Turbo3294 жыл бұрын
I like your channel big guy! I find it upsetting that at the F3's price point a steering damper doesn't come standard. I mean they could've even gone the MIC route for a damper or went with a cheaper unit like the Japanese use.
@BladeBarn6 жыл бұрын
nice, can't ride a bike without one!
@ESBKLife6 жыл бұрын
What up Guns? MV created this bike without one and word is, if you setup the suspension properly, it doesn't need one. Personally, I just assume put one on there lol

Hi Derek, Great videos, always clear and concise. Design Corsa is closed and I need to purchase the bracket kit to install the 68mm ohlins damper. I emailed Moto Corsa but was wondering if you knew of any other company where I could order. Thanks again for any assistance and always for phenomenal content.

This sounds dumb but do you recommend the stand from MV since it has a single sided swing Arm? Do you have any tips or tricks on how to put those big bolts that go towards the rear of the bike? I have been having a hell of a time getting them to line up... they are the two with the rubber gasket, aluminum sleeve.
@ESBKLife5 жыл бұрын
Hey Golf. There's nothing wrong with the MV rear stand, it works awesome. However, I prefer the Pit-Bull stands. They're quality is top notch. As for the bolts you're talking about, please send me a picture to esbklife@gmail.com

Nothing for the front at the moment but, i'll be adding Oberon Bar end blinkers soon goo.gl/dPWW3H. In had these on my 1199 and loved them! The rears are integrated into the tail light.

Hey, friend, good morning. can you tell me a site or link that I can buy the ohlins bumper for f3 800? I'm searching and I'm not finding the complete kit ...
@ESBKLife6 жыл бұрын
What's up Daniel? There are a number of ways you can go about this. Remember an actually Ohlins kit doesn't exist for this bike, which is why you're having an hard time finding it. The easiest way is to purchase a complete kit from Moto Corse or Design Corse. Design Corse sells the Moto Corse kit. Here are the links www.motocorsestore.com/en/brands/mv-agusta/f3-675-f3-800.html or www.designcorse.com/products/motocorse-steering-damper. They retail for about $600 US. Easy but pricey for sure! The more cost effective way is to purchase the damper and the bracket separately. You can find the mounting bracket on eBay for about $65 US and the Ohlins Damper from Kyle Racing (www.shop.kyleusa.com/searchquick-submit.sc?keywords=sd001) for about $345 US. Whatever you do DON'T purchase the Ohlins damper from eBay unless it's coming from a reputable seller. There are a lot of copies/knock offs out there that are total pieces of shit! Hope this help?

Does the aftermarket one's really work? Can I be safe in high speeds??😢
@ESBKLife Жыл бұрын
Well the F3 doesn’t come with one from the factory. Apparently MV didn’t think the bike needs one but we certainly don’t feel the same lol. The Ohlins unit is top notch and is used as the OE steering damper on several high end bikes as well as full race prepped track bikes!!

What gas cap do you have on your bike?
@ESBKLife2 жыл бұрын
That was the stock fuel cap.
@mvagusta67576 жыл бұрын
Why doesn't this bike come with a stock dampner. I know this is most people's qn., but I've never heard or seen an official answer. My only theory is that MV think that if your a perfect rider, you don't need one on this bike. & of course there's the penny pinching. MV should explain!!
@ESBKLife6 жыл бұрын
Well you're close. MV feels that if the suspension is set properly that doesn't need one lol
