I own same F3 800 2021. I was worried going to a 750 from my 600 in terms of comfort and not being able to put the extra power down. Was I wrong… the F3 is lighter 381 vs 419), way more nimble, way more comfortable, it’s skates on a dime, handle bars close in yet far away (I’m 5 11 215 pound bodybuilder), it’s a bike that will devour anything on the road, tolls, turns, it doesn’t matter. Quick shift is amazing, this bike is meant to be ridden past 5k rpms, it’s happy in the 6-9k range even when cruising. I leave in sport mode unless damp roads then i go normal or rain if need be. If you’re looking the sexiest, fastest bike on the road and safety… this is it. 10/10 Great job MV… this bike looks so sexy next to my White AMG E63S

I have seen other reviewers (Adam Waheed of Motorcycle USA for instance) mention intense head shake and higher speed instability being a problem. Did you experience this? I love the look and sound of the F3 800/Brutale, but am scared of losing the stability and ease of riding offered by my SV650

I wasn't able to test the bike at the limit on the road but there was no hint of instability on the one I rode. I suspect that this may only be an issue on a track day and a steering damper would solve the problem. Both MV and Ohlins offer one for the F3. Either way the MV is a light year ahead of the SV650 in all areas.

Thanks so much for the reply!! a local shop near me has a brutale 800 and I think I'll go check that out tomorrow. I think it's time to make the leap up to a true middleweight!

I'm little over 5'6 I can flat foot bike of height 800mm(30 inch saddle height). mv Augusta f3 has saddle height of 805, do you think I can flat foot it. we don't have any agusta showroom nearby.
@MikesMachines
@MikesMachines 7 жыл бұрын
A tough call but I doubt the extra 5mm would make much difference. The F3 is quite slim which would certainly help with getting your feet on the ground.

Hi, how is the long time reliability for the f3 800. Like is there any issues or niggles in this bike. And does the battery needs to be regularly charged if the bike is used once or twice a week .
@MikesMachines
@MikesMachines 7 жыл бұрын
I haven't heard of any issues with the F3 myself but I can't really comment on the long term reliability of the bike because I spent very little time with it, just a day really. Regarding batteries, my experience with other bikes used intermittently has been pretty positive if a glass mat (AGM) type battery is fitted. My Benelli is only fired up every couple of weeks and has never had any starting issues and the battery has lasted over five years.

Long time reliability is a do you got a Friday machine or a weekly machine. Some people have lots of problems, while others have barely any problems. 800cc suffers/suffered from sprag clutch wear, but that seems to be fixed in 2017 models. 675cc seems to have a higher risk of breaking a valve. Although MV Agusta had a call back for like 200 bikes to get the head of the engine replaced which should fix the problem. Other than that, tons of people have 20.000+ km's on these machines without problems. Maintain her, and she'll give you lots of pleasure ;) I myself got the 675cc version and I had radiator cap leak/rubber ring headlight replacement/fuel connector leak/Servomotor error on dashboard. Small things, but still annoying for a premium motorcycle. Once you start and ride ALL IS FORGIVEN

This bike does not like first gear, so not a great commuter bike.

Not in the city indeed, but when you hit some backroads or a track this bike gets in its element :) Just rev it up some more before you let go of the clutch. Should prevent it from that stalling feeling.
