Nowadays, the vocals in every song go through some kind of tunning process. Yes, tunning can make pitchy vocals get better, but you can't transform a bad voice into a good voice. If this girl can sound good and not too robotic at the same time, she probably has some decent vocals to work with. Don't underestimate someone's talent so easily.

Jay Lee the tone is similar though there’s less power. It’s like lightly tapping keys on a piano verses striking them hard. The tone and note is the same but the sound is more powerful. BoA has the strength and support in her vocals to project without cracking or sounding like she’s just yelling or screaming. But she doesn’t sing with that conviction all the time. I think a lot of the songs on her English album are a good example of this style. I imagine if BoA sang this there would be some parts that sound very similar to pony’s version, particularly in the chorus, but then other parts would be more... vocally interesting? Lol BoA is capable of doing a lot more with her voice, obviously.
