You get through so many cool pedals, Jackson - not jealous at all 😉 It's been a good year for gear all round, though, I think. You make all of these stompboxes sound incredible, and the Hephaestus, the Gnawer and the Silicon Focus Fuzz are all now on my list to try ASAP in 2024! I agree with you on approaching darker tones. The brighter the better was my motto and ethos previously. I used vox amps or ran brighter drive pedals through my fender amps or cranked the tone knob, but with my influences shifting from jangle pop to more of a generalized indie theme gravtitating towards more of a Silvertone/supro/harmonic driven sound, I’ve begun to use different drive pedals.
