Good stuff daledo. The change is very noticeable. I also started working out back in February 2022 and haven't stopped. I do 200 pushups every single day, I use resistance bands, and I have 20lb and 30lb dumbbells. I've also been vegan for 12.5 years.

Hell yeah Dale. Love the journey. I started the gym last year in hopes to replace it with drinking / partying and it’s done just that. Skating is better, life is better, I look and feel better. Working out really is the cheat code to a better life. Much like you, I regret not starting sooner. But here we are

Hell yeah, I love seeing people find fitness. It's a powerful message you're sending to your audience and 150 to 185 is a respectable transformation. I've lifted weights from my late teens through to now in my mid thirties and it's had a profound impact on my life. Keep it up man, much love

Hey Dale, long time fan. Used to watch you when I was into skating more, I fell out of it and it's been a bit since I've watched you. Really impressed with your transformation, I've been going to the gym a long time now and have struggled to gain weight, as many do. I'm great at going to the gym and staying consistent, but eating for me is particularly difficult. It's just very hard for me to eat more. Your transformation is honestly maybe one of the closest things on youtube I've seen to something I could achieve. At my height of going to the gym and eating, I gained about 20lbs and was consistent at the gym for maybe 6 months, started looking a bit like how you look. Sadly I lost that, but I want to get there again. Really curious on your tips on diet. Especially hearing you eat a plant based diet, that's really impressive. I've wanted to switch to plant based for a long time now, but I just worry at how difficult eating already is for me, I don't want to add unnecessary strain. But yeah, if you got time what advice do you have for gaining weight, besides the gym, because I feel like I got the gym part figured out, it's just the diet lol.

IIRC youre supposed to take creatin breaks every now and then because otherwise your body stops producing creatin - which could be bad in the long run, should you ever stop taking it. Might be worth checking up on this to avoid problems in the future. That aside: congrats on the transformation. You also seem happier since you started working out!

@daledecker hell ya dude! You and John inspired me to consider plant based like 7 years ago, it took me way too long to implement it into my life cause I live in rural north texas(no vegans around), lived off plants for most of 2017, lost my way, followed some animal rights activists on you tube and really drove home the ethics for me and I've been living a vegan lifestyle for over 4 and a half years now. I am your age and have always been skinny(about 5-10 never fluctuating below or above 130-140lbs) about 15 years. Everyone around me still eats the "normal diet" and is concerned that I'm not getting what my body needs/ and don't believe a plant based diet can be achieved healthily. Ive worked out my whole life and done martial arts here or there mostly BJJ/Karate from my brother/friends growing up but i never have made much visual progress lol i can still do like 30-40 pullups no issues and 100-200 pushups per day in 2 sets or 4 sets depending how i feel without much effort but it has never made me ripped probably cause of my lack of diet and proper eating which i just corrected this year I also neglected rest alot and would kind of abuse myself stay up really late and not sleep for a long time etc lol, Also as of late am doing high endurance cycling for about 3 years so i have taken it light on working out as some days it is like my legs are literally non existent lol.... Good job also you looking good and filled out!. Im still stuck at 149-160lb range lol

Creative pretty much fills you up with water on the muscles you worked out. Makes you look bigger. A little boost but go for a few mile jog and most of your bulk will melt away
@daledecker
@daledecker 3 ай бұрын
It never melts away after an intense bjj class 🤷🏻‍♂️ it fills your muscles with water so they are more hydrated and can work harder making you feel stronger. It’s not a crazy boost but it helps.

I know you’re vegetarian but you should buy a few chickens. Take good care of them and eat there eggs. Eggs are a complete protein. But whatever you’re doing seems to be working. Also do heavy squats. When the legs get built up the whole body gets bigger. Also stay away from anything that’s supposed to boost testosterone unless you want chest flab
@daledecker
@daledecker 3 ай бұрын
@@DeadVegaInSpain yeah my leg days are mostly just compound movements. I go hard on squatting. Also man when I get a house that’s on the list. Get some pet chickens and snag up their eggs. Also yeah I don’t take any PED or anything.
