I absolutely loved Morocco! I took a three week solo trip to this beautiful country two years ago and had an absolutely amazing time. As a 22 years old female I fehlt always quite safe. I went to Marrakech, the Atlas Mountains, the Sahara desert, Essaouira and Tamraght. I even adopted a very sweet street cat there, who is living with me at home in Germany since. I’m planning on going to Morocco a second time next year!

You should watch Kara and Nate, Lost in Transit or any other channels that document it to prepare you for Everest Base Camp.

I did Annapurna base camp with Life Himalaya Trekking and they were quite good. If I chose a guided tour I would go with them again but it would be my preference to self-guide my next trek now that I have some experience of the country as I prefer the freedom it allows. Nepal is a wonderful place. You may go for the mountains, but it's the people and their culture that make you want to stay. The country seems to be improving a little bit every day. It is also ridiculously easy to eat healthy there.

I lovvvved Morocco! I went solo for 3 weeks in May of last year and visited Casablanca, Marrakech, Fes, Tangier, the Sahara Desert tour, Chefchaouen and Meknes! so many scary comments before and I'm glad I still decided to go!

This sounds epic!!! I'm leaving NZ this year and actually have booked EBC hike in April, I'm so, so, soooo excited! I've been wanting to do it for YEARS, but I couldn't really afford it, but now finally I can say I'm more financialy stable, so I can FINALLY tick it off my bucket list 🎉

Takes some close fitting googles to protect your eyes and also good fitting face masks. The iron ore train trip is quite dirty and when the train is in motion the air around you is often full on iron ore dust

I was in Morocco for 3/4 weeks in March 2022 and I'm not sure if it was cause it was JUST after the country opened back up after covid or if it's always like that, but I had A LOT of attention from the locals. It was worse when I was on my own opposed to when I was in a group of people and I found that the worst place for it was in Fes which was the first place I went haha! I'm glad you enjoyed your time there! Looking forward to seeing all your vlogs from this year!

Visiting at least one new country a year sounds like a plan. From the Midwest US, my travel plans outside the US are a road trip to Canadian Prairies, European vacation to Netherlands, Belgium, and Denmark, and hostel adventures in Playa Venao (one familiar to Christianne and viewers) and Tel Aviv. The Mexican adventure would be amazing. Everest Base Camp and Fairy Meadows are already on the bucket list.

Regarding the EBC trek (which I wanted to do this April but sh*t happened here in Israel) - you can do it twice a year around October and around April-May. But as far as I know people make the actual clime to Everest only in April - pros: less trekkers on the paths, cons: you won't get to see the infamous yellow tents of the climbers getting ready for the big ascend so it's worth considering doing that trek in April I think. Hope you have a great year!

I did Everest Base Camp last year and it was one of the best experiences of my life (even though I got altitude sickness, along with half of our group!) I booked with G Adventures and highly recommend our guide Gelu Sherpa. It’s such an incredible place, definitely a once in a lifetime experience!

Did EBC two Octobers ago, went late October and the weather was absolutely gorgeous. Trekked with Adventure Mountain treks, very good team for a good price! They're local sherpas, unlike some of the other companies = cheaper and also more knowledgeable guide.

I can 100% recommend NoRoads expeditions, they are a small Australian company and Peter the owner is amazing to deal with. We have done Kokoda and the Komodo islands in Indonesia with them and plan to do a few more with them too. They may even be able to assist you with a reasonable flight home to Australia 😊 Ps your plans sound amazing and can’t wait for your videos ❤

Without stating the obvious you are going to be paying a lot of money if you are leaving flights to Oz until the last minute - supply and demand - you need to be booking now - still reasonably priced. Family time is important so book now - no excuses if you want to be there over Xmas.

Of course ☺️ sadly with the nature of what I do however, it doesn’t make sense for me to commit this soon when my plans could completely change (then I’d lose a lot more money!) So I’m one of the ones that just has to pay more for the convenience of booking closer to the time

The people who say don't go, know that they have never traveled. As for those who say beautiful things and encourage you, know that they are people who have actually traveled. They only read about places in groups or similar on social media sites, 99% of which are created by their imagination 🤞🤞💚💙❤💜🧡💛

Hey! Half Georgian from Germany speaking over here😊 While I definetly recommend going to Georgia because it´s a really great country especially for people who love hiking and being at the sea and eating yummy food (so kind of everyone I´d say😉), I wouldn´t recommend going in summer. Especially if you also want to go to Tbilissi, summer is just not the right time to go. It´s just hot and the air pollution in the city is quite bad so it´s not really enjoyable. The only thing that you should take into consideration is if you want to go to Tusheti. This region you can really only visit in summer and if you are able to, you definetly should because its soooo beautiful.
