I deleted Tiktok a while ago because I wasted way too long on there every day (and the tiktok shop ads were getting to be too much as someone who is an impulse buyer) and you are still one of my favorite booktokers so I’m really glad you’re starting to post more on YT!! Loved your videos on tiktok for years loving the longer content here! My mother made a comment when I had a video on about your video being inverted because she would like to be able to read the names of books in your background and such. Figured it worth mentioning when you seem to be making more videos over here, can’t remember if you do it on tiktok. Loved the ballpit art, very tasteful, perfectly framed. Oh and I’m not sure if I’ve ever seen someone else do it, I love the continuation of the triple event boxes. It feels like it adds so much more drama to the checking off because even if it feels certain what if you only get two by the end of the year!!

I remember when I first joined tiktok and the algorithm had figured out that I like books but not the types of bookish creators I prefer and I had a whole series of 17-19 year old ⚪️ girls recommending The Black Flamingo as "a book written in prose" and it just made me so tired to see them all copying this wrong thing.
