I always learn from your tutorials!!! You are the best teacher!!! I do find that any watercolor markers I use, (regardless of brand), directly onto paper, doesn’t move too much once I add water to activate, or it will still leave the original marks on the paper. So I have to put the pigment onto a plate like you did in the 2nd step and get a wet brush and pick up the pigment, and then apply it onto the paper in order for it to be smooth and not leave all those original marks behind.

oh, the gesso is a good idea, thank you, never thought about to use on the top of the paint, usually, I was using white gouache, thank you xxx
