Excellent! Lots of self-directed artists are afraid to even try drawing human faces and figures, so lessons like this are so valuable. Identifying proportions and using anatomical landmarks are important strategies to creating natural-looking faces, even in fantasy-themed illustrations. And yes, everyone needs to look up Brian Froud and other artists who have been so influential in the genre! Great advice!

This is amazing! I LOVE Brian Froud!!! I have most of his work and his Oracle deck. I have been a huge fan of his since I was teenager and I always wondered *how* he created his works, but I never dared to try it for myself and find out. If I get a chance to join the Celtic Collective, no lie, he'd be one of the reasons I'm doing it! 😆 Beautiful work, Karen! 💜
