Nice video! Looking forward to part 2. I'm new to zwift and cycling and loving it. Surprised to find I actually enjoy doing longer rides too but wish I could do more. A video on how you built up to this level of volume would be awesome 😊

Great volume mate, just make sure you're able to assimilate all of that. But 100% on spreading it out more during the week. Doing a 3h long ride on the week on top of a 5-6h ride on the Sat really makes a big difference!

Great work. I’m just coming back from a stress fracture following a marathon! How much S&C are you typically doing now? I would love to see a specific video based on what you are doing to stay injury free and manage this volume!

I actually don’t do any S&C All the training I do goes in the videos but at the moment it’s just swim bike and run

The really easy workouts, like the 140w avg 90min Monday recovery workout - how big is the value/how much do you get out of them?

I find it’s really helpful for recovery to get your legs moving like that. I tend to only do an easy ride on a Monday and an easy swim on a Thursday. The rest has a little more intensity at least

With 0,7 or 0,9 mmol/l lactate thats never a Tempo effort. I would doubt that reading if the PE is right.

I spoke about this in a previous video and still have no idea why but my lactate is consistently about 1mmol lower when running vs cycling. So 0.7 and 0.9 feels the same as 1.7 or 1.9 If you go and look at my running lactate levels you’ll see that my levels remain stable until about 1mmol Still have no idea why but I just use the numbers differently to when on the bike

I just never found it to be beneficial so I just replaced those sessions with extra swim, bike or run sessions

Bro…. Vids are rad. But i can’t deal With the way you say aerobic. It’s unaustralian. I’m assuming you’re south Australian. They’re renowned for mispronunciation and making up words that don’t even exist
