The golem yeeter is hilarious, never seen it implemented like that before! The gravel killer is interesting too, only thing I'd be a bit concerned about is additional lag that may be caused by keeping the golems alive for longer and having them all touch each other too much. Probably not too significant though, the gravel launcher definitely makes up for that in its cool and fun style!
@Stromne2 жыл бұрын
There is a little extra MS but not much, you can see my world mspt in the top left of the screen in the minihud section throughout the video. However, you would have very similar MD sending them to the nether unless they had separate kill chambers

Holy underrated channel batman!! I just got into more technical Minecraft after discovering Ianxofour’s channel and being inspired by his elegance series, but sadly his farms are only tailored to maximize the time invested to drop rate ratio. Absolutely god tier for a beginner, but sometimes you’re okay with investing a bit more time for higher drop rates, right? Thus began my descent into the endless cesspool of garbage channels mindlessly building the same farms and (sometimes, but rarely) giving clearly visible credit to the geniuses behind them. “Oh, this one is great but it actually breaks frequently and the guy who posted the video just luls and puts hearts on the comments that point out the problem instead of providing a fix for it” “This one has decent drop rates but I hate bouncing things between dimensions” “This one is easy to build but I honestly think it could get better drop rates with the same time investment if the guy actually put more thought into it” “Wtf even is this music and choice of shaders!? Holy f*ck this guy is annoying but I’ll tolerate it since it’s only one farm”… you probably understand my pain here. Your channel has none of that. You speak clear and direct, don’t rely on music/shaders or obnoxious editing to keep your audience engaged, and you actually put clear thought into the design and presentation of each farm. Honestly I like you so much after watching only two videos that I feel excited to attempt your level 3 builds! I’m still fairly new to this side of the game, but I have a talent for noticing quality when I see it, and your channel is EASILY up there with the likes of Ianxofour and ilmango. Seriously, the subscribe button pretty much hits itself!! Thank you for just existing and being yourself, because you’re a breath of fresh air in this chaotic, polluted world. (plus I just watched some of your earlier videos and you’re really cute man

@@Stromne Even if you are right about that, it’s not just the builds that pull people in man :) I enjoy watching Mumbo because of his personality for example, and you’ve got a very pleasant one I connected with immediately! Also, your voice is extremely calming to listen to. I don’t understand how you have such a small audience, but maybe it’s just how the KZbin algorithms work with younger channels? I mean, I was on an active hunt for a max theoretical gold and iron farms before I stumbled across your channel. Regardless, I really believe you have the potential to go all the way here (if that’s what you want of course). I'm still a n00b but my iron farm is barely maybe 1K ingots/hr (no where close to this guy) and it opens up so many facets of the game I didn't think about. Like I wanted a massive 200 cauldron lava farm for a super smelter idea....crafting all the buckets was as simple as 1-2 hour AFK while grabbing some food or watching a movie. If I had THIS much iron, I'd make an entire base out of iron blocks for some FLEX. :D

if you're building this on a server, you might want to just opt for the lava version even if it's less fun. i built this myself but found that the gravel entities were very finicky and tended to dissapear for no apparent reason, which quickly removes the lethality of the farm to the iron golems. a lava system is much more robust in that it won't interact oddly with that ever server configuration or plugins the server has and will be much more reliable. so yeah, if you're in a similar situation as i am, then just opt for the lava version off the bat rather than having to go back and change it retroactively.

Your idea (launch golems, single dimension) is what I tried and failed to make. You did it. Great design. Btw, do we need 2 portals for chunk loading?
@lukasmiller85312 жыл бұрын
A chunk loader „only“ loads a 3x3 area where entities are processed, so you probably need more space

yes, as Lukas stated, unfortunately the farm is larger than a 3x3 area, so the 2 chunk loaders fill in the gaps on the edges.

I built the big one. Its crazy fun. I've notice that the villagers are unable to sleep and the farm stops generating golems - at least I think that's the issue. I'm thinking of adding a clock at the top as well to turn it on and off periodically.
@GaingsterKid2 жыл бұрын
If your farm works fine and out of nowhere it stops working, check the chunk loaders. If the rendering glitches a chunk loader can break and one chunk loader can be out of minecarts. The farm will break even if you are in it. To fix it , just put back a minecart in each chunkloader. P.s While building if the chunkloaders are broken , remove the portals in the nether and rebuild them using coordinates (over world portal coordinates/8).

Very nice video, quick question, in level3, you said the fences are there to stop golems spawning on slime block when they are extended. But those slime block only pushes out when there is a golem just spawn. Is there a potential for them to double spawn or those slime blocks are in reach of another module?
@Stromne2 жыл бұрын
In the exact configuration of the world download, you can get away without fences. I still left them in because, if you change the villager layout to add more villagers, there could be a chance of double spawn, and that breaks that module when that happens. Adding more layers of villagers would not be a 1:1 increase in rates because of the overlapping layers, but i figured it would be good to include since fences aren't too expensive

If I wanted to put a build around the lvl 3 farm to make it look nice, All I need to go is keep it outside the white glass and it should be fine right? Or do I need to give it bit extra room by like 3-4 blocks on each side?
@Stromne2 жыл бұрын
You would need to make sure there are no spawnable blocks in the white space and the golems have room to fall down just outside the white space where they get launched. So you could either put windows for them to fly through or just use the edge of the water collectors as the edge for the outter wall.

Again you show the different areas but you do not give the dimensions of those areas which would be the helpful purpose of showing them. Also if a MOB is in a minecart or boat they will not despawn. Instead of gravel or Lava I would use blue campfires which kill fast and does not harm the drops.
