Billy halibut heaven the number clip is the first video I seen few months back. I work on the water as a diver , and when I am not working I am fishing . Takes more than cold and foul weather to change my mind about bait and wait along the shore . However my name is Jesse and in your video when you said don’t be a Jesse about the cold . 🥶 I was ready to roll my sleeves up mad as hell. I have never heard that saying . I googled it and learned it’s a Saying .

Yes, Norway and Greece are very similar. Pine trees and big mountains, deep water. What grease does not have the amount of fish as Norway , and Greece has limestone instead of grannies. But still, both are amazingly beautiful Thanks Brother 👍😁

Hey Billy. Do you think crab cart would be a bait to use in Norway. You mentioned that the halibut had a load of crab in them. Cart is cheaper and easier to transport to Norway than a load of peeler. I plan to take a shed load of frozen lug, salted rag and maybe crab cart.

Or able to point me and a friend in the direction of some good shoreline to fish? @@Billyfishing_watch Yeah know how to catch the blue grouper Billy……….average fish in Sydney is about 10-15kg. They obviously get bigger the further away you get from the cities though. We have a boat too and catch Marlin, yellowtail kingfish, mahi mahi etc. what’s the best way for us to take this off line without us both plastering our personal details all over KZbin? Happy to send a less used email?

Grouper are all year round, kingfish are out in the deep blue in winter but come in close spring thru autumn and can be caught from the rocks during this period, they are notoriously tricky though as they are super powerful and actively intelligent and do their utmost to bust you off on structure. Grouper are similar but not quite as smart and not quite as strong pound for pound. A 15kg kingfish from the rocks is a once in a lifetime…….a 15kg kingfish off a boat will leave most fisherman done fishing for the rest of the day afterwards 😂. Marlin, tuna and mahi mahi are more game fish and likely to be caught from a boat but there are actually land based spots over here where guys do get them. Again it’s a real holy grain of fishing to catch them from the rocks. It’s sounds like you’ve rock fished SA though so I think you know how it works 😊

It is very confusing about the fish! Depending on where, and who you talk to in the world. Some people call it a false albacore, and some people call it a barito tuner. And in reality it is just one of the many mackerel swimming our oceans. Thanks Brother 😁👌

@@Billyfishing_watch yeah maybe you are right. We have this conversation here in Greece as well as in spring both bonitos and albacores pass near the shore and many are fishing them. But I think most people are considering this tuna species as false albacore (with the mosaic stripes on the back) while bonito has straight stripes and is a little more black.

False albacore was my original guess! But when I researched it, it became even more nuclear. So I think the two fish must be extremely similar. Still a fantastic fish to catch, and I hope the fishing is better in Greece then it is in Sicily!
