oh, dear, dennis - i just read your sunday blog. What an unfortunate few days you have had. I am, however, so impressed with your cool head (and pain tolerance) in how you handled the situation. So relieved to read that you are already showing signs of healing. May you continue on the road to a speedy recovery. p.s. I was delighted that you favored us with a few political observations - more, please!!!!

Thanks Nancy. I'm going without the sling today. One web site says I can stop using it after a few days. Full recovery can take up to three months, but most activities can be resumed after about two weeks. So, I'm doing okay so far. Thanks again. -Dennis

happy birthday, dennis - it’s so nice to see you doing well. And that vacuum cleaner sounds like it will be a worthwhile investment. I caught that very quick comment about your dad’s demise - so sorry. It must have impacted your life and that of your mother and brother in devastating ways. Grief is such an overwhelming and life-altering reality. I just lost a very special someone myself, and the grief overshadows everything. I hope the memory of your dad’s passing has become somewhat muted as the years have passed. Be well, dennis, and yes, please do more kitchen vlogs, especially political ones - your opinions are always fascinating and enlightening.
