My 7am Pilates Morning Routine! | My Workout & What I Eat
Hi all!
Welcome back to another week! A lot of you had requested a realistic morning routine so I am giving you exactly that. It doesn't get any more real than this! As much as I talk about routines and staying consistent every single morning, I understand that sometimes that isn't always the case for many of us, myself included. Waking up and immediately forcing yourself to hit the gym hard or go on a 6 mile run because you are afraid to break your routine, isn't always the healthiest or most productive either. I have had to teach myself this and work so hard on this for YEARS! Now, I can honestly say that I am in a much better space where I actually take a moment right away in the morning after I wake up and listen to my body, asking myself what it is I need from myself today. Sometimes, that isn't putting my workout clothes on and heading straight to the gym, but rather taking that 30 minutes to myself in the morning to meditate, journal, and let my body wake up naturally. Whatever it is you feel you need to do in the morning to set yourself up for success is what I highly encourage you to do!

Chia-Misu Recipe
Chocolate Chia Seed Layer:
- 2 tbsp chia seed
- 1 tbsp cacao powder
- ¼ tsp cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- ½ cup warm plant- based milk (we recommend oat or pea milk)
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
Coffee Layer:
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (I like using Ritual)
- ¼ cup plant based milk + 2 tbsp
- 1/8 tsp cardamom
- ¼ tsp cinnamon
- 2 tsp maple syrup
- ½ espresso shot or decaf
Greek yogurt layer:
- ¼ cup Greek yogurt or coconut yogurt
