After the attack he got his job back and still works there today. Its crazy Just how wide reaching 9/11 really was. Everyone remembers where they were...

I was born in 2006, however one of my mother's friends was a flight attendant at the time and was supposed to be on American Airlines Flight 11. However, she called in sick after she had a gut feeling telling her not to go to work that day.

i was born 3 days after however my mom and dad remembers where they was. scared shitless bringing me into the world as they watched what was happening on TV in their home. they tell me about every 9/11 /my brithday. its crazy that everyone remembers what they were doing on 9/11.

I wasn't alive yet. My family lived in New Jersey. My father was on a business trip in New York City. He was working half a mile away from the towers. He was supposed to fly home that day. My mum was watching the whole thing on tv with my older brother who was 1 at the time. My scout leader was a first responder at ground zero. Thank you for talking about this dark day.

I was only a few months old when 9/11 happened.I often hear people say how much the environment changed after this happened. I’m so curious about how life was like before all of this. I grew up in a world where attacks like this were very much possible and the future seems more grim.

9/11 impacted on all future travel protocol at airlines on a global level, travel was much stricter, people travelled less. It was a very anxious time it felt like an end of the world horror movie, as you didn’t feel safe and didn’t know if another attack was imminent, leaving the house you didn’t know if you’d come back. Although I don’t live in America I saw images of 9/11 on the Tv and online and it was surreal the smoke the fire people jumping out of the building from the top floor people trying to get out before the buildings collapsed, the smog and ash covering the streets and buildings rubble everywhere, it was just terrible and it led to war in Afghanistan, so 9/11 impacted on the world and everyone around the world was very fearful about the future of the world Four planes were hijacked two went into World trade centre, third hit pentagon and fourth plane crashed into open field it could be because crew members and passengers courageously fought the terrorists, as this was found out after black box was retrieved;it was said the brave people possibly prevented a hit on intended target the White House. In my country well after 9/11 a bus and underground train was blown up in 2004, so at the time I became fearful of men with large rucksacks as suicide bombers tended to use large travel rucksacks, Celebrities especially musicians were always traveling around the world to perform new songs live, have interviews and promote albums much more but noticed around time of 9/11 concerts and overseas trips were cancelled by musicians and they were very worried about making a living they just mainly used KZbin or VEVO for music videos and their social media or stuck to local interviews. So a lot did change after 9/11

My mother worked in a flower shop in Tolyatti, Russia. It was evening and then her friend asks her to turn on the TV. They watched as the plane crashed into one of the towers. Everyone was shocked and couldn't believe their eyes. No one understood what it was.

9/11 wasn't a huge part of my life, but now I live during an event in history, which is somehow even worse. The war time is not fun. I hope it'll end soon and I hope I will be able to forget at least some of it in the future. I'm glad I don't have kids so my kids won't even remember this war. *sigh
