Potato soup is a simple soup but so good! I remember in grade school reading a book called stone soup, It was based on a poor family who was hungry and the mother had the children fine some stones and she put the stones in water and cooked the stone and added some season to it and the children and the parents sat down to a bowl of wonderful stone soup. so when I fix my potato soup i pretend i am making stone soup. and my daughter laughts and tells me mom I remember reading that book in school too! Hi Rachel! I finally got around to making your Potato Soup recipe a few days ago and there’s only two of us!! The whole pot was finished in two days! My significant other had 3 servings the first night and couldn’t praise it enough!! I’ll have to say out of all of the potato soup recipes I’ve made, yours is THE BEST! The cream corn took it up a notch!! All of your spices and ingredients were right on!! My only addition was celery because I put celery in everything!! Thank you again for another masterpiece! 💞

Rachel, I had to drop a note today because I made your potato soup, and it was soooo delicious! I think the poultry seasoning makes it, I have never used that spice before but it was perfect for this soup, your recipe is a keeper. I forgot to buy creamed corn at the store, I got distracted, but I had frozen corn so I used it and it's just fine. I will make this again and again. Great for winter, I didn't make the cheese toast but I have your recipe for it, another time, your kitchen in Texas is so much larger and spacious, lucky you! I live in a studio with a tiny kitchen, but I make it work for me. I'm making your Broccoli Cheddar in a couple weeks too. I'll let you know what I think. I am craving homemade soups this winter, a lot of chopping but worth it.Thank you, oh..why don't you have your handsome Ron be your taste tester on camera!! Lol 😊 I wish your recipes were in printable format. I have to write them all out in long hand. 😊 🎉🎉
