Each person has their own taste when it comes to seating and decor. I can tell you they are super comfortable and at least they’re unique. Most people just put standard black seats in there. Thanks for watching and we appreciate you sharing your opinion

That is the best projection screen I have seen for a home cinema, I especially love the curve as it perfectly replicates the curved screens used in imax/regular theatrical screens.

Yeah man lovely set up especially the arcam av41 processor. Just a shame you didn't give us a look around the back. I love to look at what kind of cables one is running. At the end of the day that's how one judges how low ones noise floor is.

Sorry about that. It is all balanced XLR using wireworld cables I believe. Nice setup.

@lovologist, owner here from the video. I love my MartinLogans. Going from the Klipsch horn tweeters to Margin Logan was a major change. I did a ton of research, spoke to a couple sound engineers as well as professionals like Warren (Owner of DivineAV). I compared and listened to speakers from many major brands, Klipsch, B&W, Emotiva, Goldenear, SVS, Polk etc. I just loved the MarginLogan's "sound" from the ribbon tweakers. Compared to my prior Klipsch Reference Premiere 7.2.4 setup, the music sounded "warmer" and more "real" to me. The dictation of people in movies was "cleaner" and more realistic to me. Speakers once you get up into a certain price range and quality become very personal, especially when you get them professionally calibrated like DivineAV did for my home theater here. Let me know if you have any additional questions on the sound.

Awesome build! What are the benefits of a curved screen vs a traditional flat screen? Also, can any projector support curved screens?
@DivineAV Жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for watching and we appreciate your question. Curved cinema screens help with overall immersion. -Your peripheral vision is able to pick up the edges of the image easier when using a large screen. You don’t have to turn your head from side to side as much. -The edges of the screen are more in focus then with a traditional large flatscreen. Reduction of pincushion affect. -The overall wow factor of the unit is definitely a plus Now for projection : You do need geometry. Correction to get a perfect image on a curved screen. You can use a standard projector without geometry. Correction, although you will get a slight smiley face type curvature to the image. The Epson LS 12,000 does have Geo correction built-in. Something like a mad VR extreme could correct the image properly on any projector. Our curved screens are currently backordered, but if you were interested, feel free to reach out to our sales team. We can take care of all of your Home Theater needs. Thanks Divineavinc@gmail.com

Curious on the atmos speaker set up . Specially the two front ones I figured u had to place those closer to the screen to get the front to back movement
@DivineAV Жыл бұрын
The overhead movement is fantastic. There’s six of them. The middle speakers are nearly directly overhead and down firing. The rear and front overheads are angled directional drivers.

Very nice setup! Love Savant! Love the PowerWalls! I assume you used Tesla solar panels, correct? Did you consider the D-Box System for your theater? It adds an element which pulls one INTO the movie, and makes it a much more immersive experience. You might consider adding it in the future...love it! Many years of enjoyment coming your way! (And be very careful with Kaleidescape Store! It's super easy to purchase 20 movies at a time!)

Hey buddy, thanks for commenting. I passed it on to the client in the video. His house is amazing. Doing the Dbox at our show room soon. Awesome!!
@Merveilleux2 Жыл бұрын
@AresZeus1. I appreciate the good vibes from your comments. Yes I used Tesla Solar. If you do go solar, I recommend going with Tesla Solar and ordering from them directly. To your second question, yes I consider D-Box, however I was already over my budget with my current selection so maybe down the road I will add them. And yes, I love Kaleidescape, I just wish storage wasn't so expensive and there was an option to view videos your purchase on your Ipad & Iphone.

@@Merveilleux2 Thanks for the feedback! When did you have your solar installed and who did it? Was it Tesla, or another company? Were you happy with the company's work? We just met with a company today to check it out. As for D-Box, I've had mine since 2005. I have several chairs (2 x Jaymar-I have a name when you are ready to buy!- and 4 x CinemaTech), most are currently in storage (which is killing me) because I currently do not have a formal theater. We are hoping to build in the near future! I also noticed you had a Marshall Fridge. Do you play?

Where are the acoustic panels from or are they custom?
@DivineAV Жыл бұрын
The main panels are a package from Amazon. The acoustic clouds are our Divine Acoustic product. We will have panels available for shipping soon.

Yep, the room has an RT60 time of about 1.1 seconds. We left it a bit lively because the client also likes to listen to music. Good observation on KZbin. Thanks for watching.

The seats are way way way way (that's a lot of ways) back. They could easily be brought forward by at least another 3-4 feet. The immersion factor is very low in this cinema. What's the point in being so far back that you cant be immersed in the action? Your money your choice.
@DivineAV Жыл бұрын
Have you noticed that in a 200 seat auditorium with 20% capacity, some people will sit in row 3 and others will sit in row 21? It’s all about personal preference. Also, that screen is massive, even from the current seating position, you have to move your eyes back and forth when the movie pans.
@DivineAV Жыл бұрын
We shot this on a 16mm prime with a FF Sony A7Siii. That’s probably why you’re thinking it is so far away. In reality the seats are like 12 feet away. Plenty of space behind the seats for a proper rear surround experience.
@Merveilleux2 Жыл бұрын
3-4 feet away you cannot see the full screen. Like DivineAV mentioned, it is actually very close. About 12 feet away in my theater. The 155 inches or around 13 feet screen takes up the whole wall and its full immersion.
