you should move the couch and turn it around so its up against the iron shelf rack so when you're sitting on the couch you have the view outside. it would also open up the room more but the coffee table and the side shelves would still divide the room. just my opinion

I think it's all so cool. I could only suggest you maybe move the couch between the rack and the shelf. Like the back of the couch against the rack and so you could have a more relaxing view, instead of staring at the rack and the clothes you could face towards the terrace or balcony.
