I’ve been collecting art books for a really long time now and I am absolutely obsessed. Not only are they a great way of learning new things, but they gave me something to work towards. For a long time when things were hard knowing that I could save up money and buy an art book was what got me through. I’m so glad I’m not the only one who collects them, I’m so glad you made an updated video I love seeing your collection!!!

I just started to collect artbooks, the first i ordered actually is Loish's! I'm glad I could see a sneek speak of it and I cant wait to finally have it 💖 There are a lot of great books you mentioned so I have a lot to see for myself and purchase haha Great video as always!!

Loved the first video and loved this one!! My favorite art book is the Art of Wolfwalkers (2020)! It's such a generous book, and walks the reader through all the steps of development and production, and also full of amazing art!

My favorite animated movie is Song of the Sea also by Cartoon Saloon (the same animation company as Wolfwalkers) and its art book is STUNNING! By far the favorite in my collection

If I may recommended a book, in the same vain as the filming ink. It’s called Comics and sequential art by Will Eisner. As a photographer I’ve referred to it a lot when sequencing images etc

I read manga online because I don’t have the room or money to buy 20 volumes of them. what I do is buy one volume from each series, usually the one with the cover art I like best, and just use it like an art book :) I do have some actual art books as well

Hi Laura! You’re one of my biggest inspirations and I have a question for you. What has working remotely for animation been like, and do you think it will stick long-term? I DREAM of being an animator, I just don’t know if I can move to california, money being the biggest reason, along with some other smaller ones. If I could work for a big movie studio, but from elsewhere, that would be a best case scenario. I know it’s unlikely, but I’d love to know what you think!

I am a 16 year old girl from India who have decided animation should be the career for me as in here most people choose to be a doctor, engineer, etc. Wouldn't it be difficult for me to be in the animating industry because there's hardly any animation schools in such a wide country and they are expensive. After my school studies, I don't know where to go to reach my destination. Do you have an opinion miss Laura?

Just for you to know, if you like spiderverse, Alberto was actually the original art director, sony basically use him as a vehicle for bathing the film in his personal and vision style for them later ending up changing guys because of vision disagreements, is really absurd an abrupt to say this because a lot of talented people worked in this film but, the pitch style, direction and vision was Alberto's
