That’s awesome. But in like 20 years you might not be able to even hop an inch off the ground 😢

Ha. Make it one year. Did so much damage to my foot doing this that I've spent the last year either limping, in a boot, or in physical therapy. :-)

@@MattBurns303 why? did you train for that competition ?

Depends on your definition of training. I do a pretty good job of keeping up with my hang cleans and squats, but I didn't do any jumping or running leading up to this, outside of a couple meets. My stupid Achilles attachment doesn't allow me to do what I want/need to. "Why" is a great question that I don't have a good answer for. "Because I can (ish)." is probably the best answer. Also keeps my 6' HS jumpers in check, knowing their old coach can still out-jump them. 😜

@@MattBurns303 i mean its sad to hear you did some bad damage to your foot and i was wondering what was the actual cause because usually if you are detrained (didnt do any jumping for a long time) and one day if you decide to do lets say 20-30 max jumps , even if it felt ok , the next 1-2 weeks you ll be usually in a lot of pain lol
