Pelican should just come out with the ultimate Zoffinger fishing kayak. Call it "The Marty", with some of the best mods you've done on kayaks over the years as features. Your live well kayak is my favorite so far!

My first time Kayaking and this Kayak held strong. kzbin.infoUgkx4k5UrhC3v_Y4hIEaXLGvHcN5a5aBmZNB The water got pretty rough as a speed boat zipped by me, and the Kayak withstood it (I expected to be capsized). The Ores are very easy to put together, the pump worked beautifully. the seats are a bit hard to sit in after a while (I recommend sitting on the floor). after reading the reviews I was very scared it'd get a hole in it, the material is very strong and durable. The Air valve may need a small Phillips head screwdriver to adjust, other than that, it's well worth the money!(update)I've gone Kayaking in 3 Lakes and 2 rivers totaling about 40 miles. the kayak had two holes and they patched easily and no other problems can't wait for kayaking season this year!

Marty you have no idea how many mods I’ve done to kayaks because of your videos. Not all are what you’ve done..but it’s the confidence to do them. It’s made it much nicer on the water. Thank you! Keep on keepin on brother! 👍👍👌 🛶
@yakketyyak9542 жыл бұрын
Me too. Watching his and other videos gave me confidence to drill holes and cut large openings. I’m on my second kayak, just got it, a Pelican this time (Woo Hoo!). The first kayak I had was a Future Beach. My wife had one also. I cut all kinds of holes in them, dropped in a hatch, relocated a hatch, fabricated a base for a rod holder, repositioned existing rod holders, and finally, even cut the seats out of them and made sit on top seats work for sit inside models. I really enjoyed those yaks, but now we’ve moved on to sit on top models. Let the mods begin!

Thank you Marty!!! Back to the old ways, we all like seeing you be you and not being stressed about motor issues, ect. We all learn alot from you. Even though i do not have a kayak because everytime i save enough money for one something always comes up and the money i saved needs to be used for something more important like bills, ect. adulting can be unfair sometimes. Your videos help us take our mind off daily stress even if it is for 10 minutes or so.Happy that your home. Stay humble my friend.

Marty, Idk what lies in your future for the great loop, I personally believe you truly shine when you do mods on kayaks and tiny boats, you seem far more relaxed. As for me I absolutely enjoy tinkering with my small boat and kayak, I purchased a larger boat and just hate it, things suddenly became difficult and expensive and sadly didn't feel rewarding anymore. I'm going to sell my larger boat and look at a larger kayak to do stuff to and get back to being happy 😊

When you were working on that standing platform and using an old pelican seat for parts I was thinking that was going to be a pelican design. Or even some kind of seat mod you can upgrade to. But Pelican should definitely come out with a limited run of Zoffinger kayaks that you design and do it every year.
