Happy New Year everbody! Essay time: I'm so proud of how Kerbal Space Program has continued over the years, will always be one of the things I come back to as a treat (especially KSP1) no matter what stage in life and situation I'm in, so long as I have a computer and an outlet. From starting out during school to working life, I can imagine many have experienced a lot, especially the last few years. Your continued commitment to this flourishing and supportive community is something to be proud of. I believe when I first purchased the game the first video I saw of yours was the eve submarine video which had come out a couple years earlier. This along with many other of your videos inspired many of my projects so I would like to thank you if you read this :D The fact KSP1 has thousands of mods speaks for itself how revolutionary it was and continues to be, really something quite special. Glad to see you seem to be doing well, take care and get some good rest (I know I need some, not easily pulling all nighters these days lol) regards, me a random viewer

Matt, I have a cool modded video/series idea. There’s a collection of mods dealing with near future technology, like near future electrical, solar, propulsion, etc. if you haven’t already, I would recommend checking them out, and maybe doing a “realistic” near future spacecraft.

The SCANSAT mod would be good for two reasons, it gives satellites a greater purpose and you can create a slope map of any planetoid to find nice flat areas when you build bases or land

Having uploaded old versions of KSP made me think about how Jeb, Bob, Bill and Val have been there since day one, maybe on 2025 you should give them a vacation such as a first class cruise around the system's best locations, they deserve it 😆

Matt you should install the mod "rocket sound enhancement" and "rocket sound enhancement - default" it add way better sound for wheels, engines, jets, RCS, even reaction wheels and more
