MY BEST VIGI GAME EVER | Town of Salem Ranked Game

~ Today we're playing as the vigi and I have what is probably my best Vigi game I've ever had. I've had a few others that were pretty darn good, but this game is a great example of using your head and your gun properly.

I was veteran in ranked, and D3 rolls around with a dead invest. The invest will said Deodat was BG/GF/Arso. I was already suspicious of him, of course, so I whispered him asking for his role. He claimed BG (with 2 other people cc’ing TP) so I told him I was mayor and to be on me in whisper chat. I alerted, and the next day I killed the janitor + mafioso. Then we hung the GF, 3 mafias in 1 night hehe

That's kind of impossible, I mean you have 6 Mafias listed down, and max is 4 Mafias, second, you can only have 3 trials a day, which is nearly impossible.

Derpy Derpy I killed mafioso + janitor because they visited me while I alerted. I don’t know where you see the “6” mafias I “listed” because I only said GF, Janitor, Mafioso. The GF was hung because I told town that *in whisper chat,* I claimed mayor and he should be guarding me and he obliged.

Vigilante is a great role to play if you do it right. I like it better than veteran. You are in control who dies. Also veteran is kind of lame without the death notes.

Not a vig game for me but it has to be the worst game i ever had as witch. night one i found the consort, messaged him next day, saying "its me" incase of spy. Night two i found the vig, i killed mafioso not knowing it was his team member, i apologised to the consort and he couldn't understand why i was sorry and vig took full credit for the kill. Night three i tried my luck again and this time shot the blackmailer, the vig was in hysterics and admitted it wasnt him shooting anyone, i screamed in whisper to the consort that im sorry, he still had no idea i was witch. night Four comes along and i tried my luck again, at this point the only mafia i dont know is immune and i have one shot left. I found the jailor at last! but to my disbelief he had exe'd the godfather the same night, the Gf hadn't claimed anything, he had told him his role as he was annoyed that a witch had wiped out half his team in 3 nights, a BG had killed the NK previously. At this point there was as many evils dead and it was just me and this consort. the consort outted himself by claiming escort and town won on day 5. I still have the Vig added to this day and we talk about it still because i dont think i could do it again if i tried lmao.

This reminds me of my weirdest and best vigi game either. I got rid of both Neutrals and last mafia without any shooting kills. Essentially, a few days had passed and this one guy was acting sus. I went ahead and claimed vigi, said I would shoot him, and if he didn't die we should hang him. Shot him, he didn't die. Claimed sheriff, so we assumed GF being clever. Ended up being a bad Exe claim. At this point, I was pretty likely to be vigi. Next night, I shot another person who claimed BG and was "on" a few other Maf members (3 dead at this point, so seemed really sus. Also, our TP's were already dead.) I shot him, said he didn't die. He claimed bg, so we knew he was Arso or GF. Ended up being GF, so I was essentially confirmed at this point. We didn't really know what to do next, since it was between two people. I said I'd shoot one, and if they died, we lynch the other (we had like 4 town at this point, so we were fine). Next night, I shoot arso. He doesn't die. Say this in chat, we lynch him. And that is how I got an achievement for shooting 3 non-town in 1 game, and somehow managed to get 0 kills.

(janitor, blackmailer, mafioso) the most lucky vigi game ive ever seen in my life and been a part of everyone was praising him for his shots (he got like 6 friend requests after the game)

I love being vigi. I have the most wins with that role, because I have been getting way better at scum reading (thanks to you, Skimm!") Honestly, with the right person as it, the vigilante can be pretty OP as it can kill any mafia that's not GF.

Nicholas Norwood u can start to see how people react to certain things. Ex Genie voted for tank (skimm) along with deodat as self defence to deodat being voted up. Skimm saw this and assumed that genie didn't realize he did this and genie switched over to deodat trying to throw off suspicion but was to late. Play long enough and u see start seeing it

I know this is way late, but I find it funny the GF's invest claim said that Genie was Vig/Vet/Mafioso. That would have put him as a Vigi, since Vet was dead, Mafioso was dead, but GF wasn't. Not the smartest call there. BG/GF/Arso would have been the smarter claim.

So, i had an amazing vigi game. D3 a forger lynched a LO and they said "No will, guilty" (exes target BTW) he didn't talk D2 so i found it extremely scummy. I thought he was just mafia trying to get a quick lynch, turns out he was. I also died that night and everyone praised me. I got revived by ret after all mafia died; no town win. town was confused and i told them to lynch me. They didnt, but i already got controlled so i died the night either way.

In one game a veteran claimed to have used one of their “vests” to not die and I immediately jumped on that saying “vets don’t have vests”. Turns out he actually was the vet and was just fucking stupid. So the next game I named myself “VetsHaveNoVests” and got the veteran role. No one believed me until I accidentally killed an invest.

once in ranked practice i was witch and i found vigi n1 when i controlled him and made him target the spy and said in whisper chat “hey i am LO what happened to you last night? someone visited you” and he was like yeah is as witched so he pushed on that guy claiming he was witch and he was escort so the town decided to get rid of him next day but he died of guilt and put in his will (and also said in chat after the escort lynch) that i said escort visited him when he was witched but the smart gf claimed to have been sheriff and to have looked at me and he said i was ns and a sheriff a day later said his will for the night after that day saying the gf was ns (he was gf, of course) and that night i witched a doc to heal the gf and the next day the sk came out (idk why) just to say the gf was immune but the doc said he was witched to heal him so we were saved AGAIN and sk was lynched so i used the doc again to heal myself and i was attacked by the gf (who later said i was risking his chances at life, i would be better off dead so he could live, and he had janitor clean me) and the gf was found out to be guilty by a invest (rt was taken up, the other sheriff was ti) and was lynched and later the next day i witched mafioso to attack janitor and i won later on

Had a vigi game where i shot the jester N2 the consort N4 and the Mafioso N5 just by scum reading. The jester said they were a medium D2 and that #1 was inno. So I shot them because there was no way medium could know that D2. The consort was called out and claimed escort in a known consort game but town was too passive to vote them up. The Mafioso claimed Medium and just by what they were saying in chat did not add up. Plus they did not cc when the jester claimed Medium.

eastinanddopey Idk if you know these but: - The best vet bait is to just be a good town and use assertive thoughts. If you think somebody is suspicious, say it out loud, provide your evidence, then go on alert. Mafia usually don't go after speakers on night 1, as it is usually vet bait. - If you're jester, don't be too annoying as to draw attention from jailer or the fact that you are jester. What I do is put together a will based on things in other peoples will or info. Town almost always catches on and lynches me. - If you are a sheriff and find mafia night one, and the NE has not been confirmed, wait maybe a day or two (do not reveal your info d2, unless NE is dead, because they can easily say "exe") try and collect more info if possible, and then get them lynched. Also, maybe invest them again. - Always keep track of role claims. This has helped so many times. By keeping track if dead TIs and etcetera, you are able to quickly discredit RT claims. This is especially more successful in classic, if you are retributionist or spy, since anyone who claims RT is lying. - If you are mafia, a good strategy to do is to confirm each other publicly, and the town may not even realize that they aren't confirmed. Also, cc a jailor claim if you are especially frisky, get the real jailor lynched (this doesn't work 100% of the time but) and then the mafia pretty much has it in the bag. NEVER GO AFTER ANYONE WHO SPEAKS ON N1. Choose the quiet people, because they may end up being mayor or jailor or people who do not want to draw attention to themselves. - If you are jailor, you need to learn how to scum read. One way to weed out mafia is to look at the lynch votes. If someone voted guilty on a member of the mafia, but didn't vote them up to the stand, they may be scum. Jail and give them three seconds to claim role. They shouldnt take longer than that, since abbreviations exist for almost every role (consig. Esc. Med.) Afterwards, have them paste their will. A good mafia will always have a role prepared fast, but the will may be sloppy or incomplete. If they claim BG or DOC, come up with a code word to say in chat. When you trust them, say the word, and they will know you are jailor and protect you. Scum reading is very important for jailor. Also, if somebody is jailed and there are no maf kills, jail again before executing. Executing wrong is maf hit an immune can lose you all of your execution points. Also, keep an eye out when a person is jailed for lack of janitor. A mafia kill without a cleaned role when a specific person is jailed is automatically suspect unless there are three cleaned roles or no janitor at all. - As a vigi, keep an eye out for scum too. They may try and get mafia members to be voted inno, defend people for no reason at all, or claim something that doesnt seem possible with town list. Like jailor, be careful with shooting, because shooting wrong can cost two town votes lost and two town kills, as well as not being able to shoot anymore. I don't know if you know this stuff already, but here you go!
