If I work on a magical girl project, I know what the characters and everything will be like: -There’s the protagonist and her friends becoming magical girls, but not all the girls in the team are Japanese, some are from American, and I bet one’s English (as in British) & one’s French -There’s the protagonist’s crush to boyfriend turns out to be a wise dashing handsome vigilante (or two boyfriends that the protagonist is in a live triangle, but she can go dibs on both of them) -There’s the companion who’s an autistic boy or something for example -There’re no monsters to stand in their way, only monstrous bosses who serves the main antagonist and their minions, just like those bosses and those foot soldiers from Power Rangers -They got batons or wands that can become sceptres to staffs which shoot magical beams, not weapons like in Puella Magi Madoka Magica -They’ve been bestowed with enchanted superhuman abilities and fighting skills just like in Pretty Cure -Unlike most magical girl stories, when it comes to transformations, the outfits never the only thing, their hair can change too, just like in Pretty Cure -It can be a high fantasy, but inspiring, heartwarming, peaceful, happy, fun and loveable -Just like on Sailor Moon and Pretty Cure, they will befriend with newcomers in their team and backups to take part into fighting evil So like, what da ya think, huh?

You will probably need to tighten everything down If you wanna pitch it. Be more specific, focus more on your inspirations rather than your comparisons. Unless you are actively trying to compete for the same target demographic. If it is a show. You should probably think of the overall plot If it is an overarching story. If it is episodic, you should have a structure and present an example episode. Remember. We all have ideas, but not all off them are good, and not everyone is able to pull trough until they are crystallized. Not to begin talking about deadlines, budgets, crew, self publishing costs and advertisement. But as I said, anyone has ideas, and some are anble to make them come true. Right now your "pitch" is to loose to be able to attract attention. But everything starts somewhere. If it is a manga or comic, it would be easier to get it off the ground. But If you aren't a professional writer or artist I doubt the publishing house will let your pitch through. Damn, writing on mobile is a nightmare. I miss having wifi and a computer. Anyways, maybe try something simple like a black and white fanzine with a limited run to test the waters, and see where your creative journey leads you from there :D

This is so so amazing And for the designs, I wouldn't think it's bad to make designs like this because now you do have the realization of the importance in representation, this is also part of your growth and something you should be proud. Your character were great and I'm sure that you can do better now, but they were what you could do at the time and they already have some representation. And "No one wants to hear about the research you are all are here for the drawings" LIES I want to hear the explanations of everything, specially the collors and if they are indeed the colors if they are the inspiration of just Tokyo mew mew or other things. Also I love typography.... But yeah, congrats on your work, it's amazing to see your evolution over time.
