I too am Maltese but live in NYC thanks for saying such great things about Malta… I was just there for a month and missing it. Thanks to your videos I’m reliving the moments again. That hotel you stayed in Valletta is SUPER…didn’t realized it looked like that inside I did 2 years ago passed it and took a picture of the picturesque color blue doors and windows. And the food at the restaurant looked amazing. Keep up the great work…I’m subscribing…

😂 you are funny! So you accuse Dianne of ‘bullying’ him for having banter about his hat but you’re completely ignoring Joe also having banter about her reading a book and saying about how long it would take to teach her backgammon. So he’s allowed to say things like that and it’s not bullying in your head but Dianne makes a joke about his hat and you’re accusing her of being a bully. Funny that isn’t it!! We came to Malta ( Gozo ) for first time when I was about 14, we came back year . Gozo/Maltese people are just the most lovely people , so warm and welcoming and Malta has a place in my heart. We recently returned a few times and it felt like going home. I can't wait to return . Thank you for reminding me how lovely it is there

Hi I am English and living in malta now for 34 years. Whilst you are here it is a must to try Pastizzi. They are puff pastry crescents filled with mushy peas and the other type is filled with ricotta. They are delicious. If you get chance hop on a bus and visit the South of Malta. Quieter and you will experience Malta the non-touristy end. I live in Birzebbugia near a beautiful fishing village of Marsaxlokk. Enjoy the rest of your holiday. I follow you both x

As someone who has been going on yearly holidays to Malta from Ireland since I was 7 it is the most beautiful country I’ve ever seen its architecture and people really make it so special I like to call it my home away from home 😊

Joe, I tried a 2 day cruise to France to test it out, on the MSC Virtuosa which is huge, I loved it but think if you dock you need to get off and do an excursion or do your own thing! Otherwise you may feel trapped. But the ship was amazing. It all goes so smooth too from Southampton! Go try a mini cruise. I want to try a longer one now

Backgammon is a pretty easy game to learn and pretty fun (especially if you're lucky with your dice). My family have a round robin every Easter holidays as tradition and have a shield we get engraved with the winner 🏆 😊

My husband taught me to play backgammon around 12 years ago. It took me a while to get the hang of it love playing it. I also had it as an app on my phone so I could practice on my own. You’re giving a great review of Malta 😊

9:21 those are actually called granaries which basically are huge underground silos that were cut in rock following orders of the Knights of St John. The idea was part of a military strategy which would see huge quantities of grain stored underground in case of food shortages caused by a siege. My grandfather served in the Navy during the Maltese Siege and I visited the year he died . I loved Malta and am currently planning to show this to Hubby who reckons it’s not worth visiting. Maybe I will get back

Night time light up of the Buildings is just Breathtaking That view by your restaurant stunning .😍 Plenty of beter cruises jo. Maybe Virgin cruises ( Adults only ) you thought that costa fascinosa was big 😅 Look up Royal Caribbean Wonder of the seas ,Icon of the seas ( now thats a Mega cruise ship 😜) Great video have a lovely weekend 🥰

You need to go to Rabat and Mdina just amazing!! and try the Chocolate District in Valletta (and get The Madagascan chocolate, with the Maltese prickly pear liqueur!) we had it so many times when we were out there.
