Liliy White do you know anyone with “bipolar disorder?” The fact you put it in quotes makes me think you don’t think it’s real. Consider yourself lucky you have the ability to think it’s not real because for the people with it, their families, and the healthcare providers who take care of them it is very real and can be debilitating without treatment.

She's making it out to be a bit worse than it is, probably because of depression due to her illness. Hope for the best of them, but husband probably let this happen because he wasn't that alarmed about it. With us deep into Ramsey stuff we would be, but he was working hard making the right general moves if you know what I mean. But having such major equity on that rental house and being totally on track, they have nothing to worry about

Feel good to spend MONEY
@astronautfox85474 жыл бұрын
I started spending a ton of money on clothes, takeout, you name it. Ended up with 8k on credit cards after being so close to paying them off. I'm a single mom on one income. Had no clue what was going on and had other symptoms. Finally I was diagnosed with bipolar 2. Emotionally I'm angry. But I'm down to 4k in credit cards, $700 on my 401k loan. Then on to my car loan. I realize my symptoms now and work hard to control it. I get a bump now and then but nothing like it was. I feel for her. It's super tough.

They should of spent all that money on a small, mid and large cap index fund and a few good blue chip stocks like home depot, Costco, target 🎯

What was an FPU coordinator doing with credit cards? Seems like somebody wasn’t practicing what they were preaching. If all of the credit accounts were closed like they should be to be an FPU Coordinator then it is hard to get in such a large hole.

Why does Dave always blame a husband for his wife's spending, but when a husband overspends, it's all his fault. He has this double standard where men are responsible and women are just the victim, this isn't helpful.

You made a lot of money....meaning that someone saw it fit to put you in charge of something worthy of earning a good income. Which, is twisted.......I feel sorry for the people who have had to work under you and or with you, and I can only imagine the damage YOU have caused to others. Seriously makes me SICK!!! I can’t imagine making $280k a year, and I try extremely hard to keep my mind straight while working with pennies!! I don’t feel sorry for this lady or her situation. She is wreck less and dangerous.

Good question Dave where was the husband in that situation? She made a mistake but he should have been vigilant and ask questions. Accountability and all that. Doesn't mean he becomes controlling they should just be responsible adults
@catherine3805 жыл бұрын
Cami Exactly. She spent over $200k in credit cards, and he just “wasn’t really paying attention”? Doesn’t sound like a very attentive husband and it seems he wasn’t there for her when she needed him the most. What a shame.

imagine if they lived below their means. They would be millionaires in no time. I dont understand how people can earn a great sum and think they have ot have a luxury car and mansion. I know a guy that makes 110k a month and he drives a Kia and lives in a cul de sac. the most expensive thing he owns is a apple watch lol

The "need" to spend is a psychological issue. This has something to do with a sense of not being fulfilled. She needs to find a hobby or a cause that is about 'giving' to others in order to fulfill that "need". Shopping or spending, which is about 'self' ain't going to fix it... If we receive more than we give, we will be out of balance. If we are only thinking about ourselves, we will be out of balance. When we become balanced, we become better people. All things in life must be balanced in order to function.
@nararabbit13 жыл бұрын
BP people can easily get addicted to spending on other people which makes it easier to justify spending sprees when their brain is sick. It is true that thinking of others can help but if your brain is so chemically unbalanced then anything can become addictive, which is why a lifetime on medication is required to have a stable life.

Omg of course its the husband's fault he wasn't paying attention 🙄 and my eyes he's the victim I mean she says they were teaching the FPU class right so she's all acting normal and out of nowhere spend thousands and thousands of dollars and then says I was depressed after she got busted but yet that big bad guy I mean husband he's the one to blame he has to sell his how's that he was making money off of every month but he's the one to blame
