There are two things that I see in Jinx is that he is curious about everything did he get into a lot of mischief when he was younger? The other is that he loves making you all laugh. When I had my Cockatiel he was motivated by things that made us laugh as well, as a treat or two.

I’m not sure really how I came across your videos . I’m a bird person and belong to the Long Island Parrot Society or New York, i go grooming and boarding or petsitting of all animals and I’ve fallen in love with A Helping Wing, a bird sanctuary in NJ. To add more I advocate and instruct new owners of what it takes to have a parakeet as opposed to a parrot, and I belong to the newer groups popping up about feeding you birds pellets, fresh food and sprouts, along with foraging. I could name a few people but I’m just expressing my bird exposure as of now. I love the free flight method you guys do and want to get more into that. That may very well be how I found you but what ever the case I Found You!! And am ecstatic of that!!! Birds have wings for a reason and all the foraging is great but to free fly is the top of the top!!! Thank you guys for what you do. In the meantime, I may have to break from my bird interests to go back to the medical field but I WILL be back. Be safe everyone - stay healthy! Wash hands, do whatever you need to do to b there for your birds and other companions - all my love XOXO

Just saw my first baby Blue Throated Macaw today. I saw a tone of exotic birds at the local pet shop today. I was in awe. One was a giant gorgeous Ecclectus. WOW I heard a loud squawk squawk and asked Brandon, the owner, who was the loud mouth. Yup you guessed it. He was absolutely adorable. Feathers just starting to grown in. I asked how much. $5,000! WOW they sure have gone up. Saw a baby African Grey too. Adorable. He/she kept staring at me. They had a lot of perdy birdies there. Good thing I’m not wealthy. I’d have an aviary.

I can’t get over how you can touch your birds like you do and play with them. That’s the HUGE advantage of being able to get a baby. So precious. My dear Jacob was a rehome. All I knew about him was the previous owner didn’t want him. Said he was mean.

WOOOO! Haha. My Green Cheeked Conure, Jacob, watched this video intently with me yesterday. I take a nap next to his chair every evening and if I sleep to long he’ll go through his antics to wake me up. Tonight was something new. He already knew how to say, “Jacob come here”, from me calling him all the time. This time he added a new word though. “Jacob come here, WOOO”. Bwahaha. I woke right up and started laughing.
