tube put herself on a non-existent podium, invalidated all her ex-friends feelings, and had the most evil of all evil laughs all in one phone call. not allowing someone who IS as mean as they say and who is a bad friend to them into their home isn’t childish! maybe the tarot card reading gave this guy the final push to cut her off for good and i’m proud of them! hope ALL the ex-friends are listening to this and saying “is this play about us?” and laughing it off because of how misconstrued Tube made the story out to be

LITERALLY had a roommate in undergrad whose community college and hs friends "dropped her" or "betrayed her" and we just thought "damn she just has such bad luck". Only to have an extremely petty and drama filled year and eventually she moved out and stopped hanging with us. The house was sooo peaceful after that. And last I heard, we were the roommates who "randomly turned against her" 🙄

@attabooii

@@tomomyuu well with me, after a really tense summer with all the other roommates, we found out that she just would gossip and tried to turn all of us against each other. It was only after she left that we realized that all of our problems with each other stemmed from shit she told us about. We tried one more time at reconciliation by inviting her to one of our birthdays (the bday girl was super close to her and used to be her best friend before college) but at the party, she pretty much ignored all of us and when it came to sing happy birthday with the cake, she literally chose to sit in the other room instead and talked to random people we didn't really know. So we all just kinda gave up on reconciling after that

the last caller is very likely an unreliable narrator just based on how she spoke. unless you're an fbi agent or amazing actor, no way that vitriol she expressed wasn't felt by her friends. they probably all are people with issues around conflict diffusing. i can imagine her view of the theatre meeting is also skewed but the tarot card excuse is hilariously bad. makes me so glad not to be in college anymore, it's like high school caffeinated.

Advice that will go for Miles - check your PB before giving to dogs. They sometimes use Xylitol, and that is VERY toxic. Additionally, most regular commercial brands are high in sugar and palm oil, neither of which is great for dogs. As for the PB fingering boss, write on the jars - "fingers" and "no fingers" so it's clear to everyone that someone is fingering your peanut butter without confrontation. If he continues to finger the non-finger PB, you will have a clear argument.

Yes thank you! And be warned that it is also called “birch sugar” on some labels. I am a former vet tech and am so angry that companies do this because people stopped buying brands with xylitol for this reason. Sneaky and scary.

I feel for the guy in Tube's story who said he wanted to take a break as friends. I've been in a situation where a lot of other people dropped someone (for good reason), but I felt bad for them and felt like I should keep talking to them even though they made me feel icky and I knew deep down the friendship wasn't good for me. When I tried to just let things fizzle out naturally, they wouldn't allow that to happen, and I eventually had to tell them I didn't think our friendship was good for me and I was moving on. I feel like the tarot card reading telling him to prioritize himself might have just been the nudge he needed to listen to a voice that was already there telling him to cut this person off. I obviously feel for the caller because this is a hard thing to go through and it's really hard to confront your own mistakes and times you need to make changes in your own life, but it definitely sounds like they're the common denominator in this situation, and like many other commenters have said, this person's tone doesn't pass the vibe check. This is something that talking to a therapist could be really good for, in my opinion. I super appreciate Miles and the Wrecking Ball Crew for being honest and willing to point out when callers might be in the wrong or need to consider other perspectives.
@Cashhhhew

I’m in that boat rn. Tube sounds EXACTLY like the person I’m dealing with too. If it weren’t for her saying her age and college thing I’d be convinced it was my friend. She’s been dropped by everyone and I have to tip toe around in every which way just to hang out with those people too, otherwise she blows up at me. She causes a ton of drama and has that same passive-aggressive tone. She plays victim a lot. I’m trying to do the right thing though and not leave her completely alone because that sucks too. But man it’s stressful and hard to keep my mouth shut
@sarahmacpherson3848
@sarahmacpherson3848 11 ай бұрын
@kshoo9491 Ive been there. You have to do what's best for you at some point though and if this person is causing you stress, unnecessary and tiring drama, or just making you feel bad about yourself (that's what was happening to me when I tried to stay friends with someone that everyone else had dropped) then dropping them may be the best option. It took me a long time to learn this but being kind to someone who is costing you your peace of mind is not worth it. You are prioritizing them over yourself and if they wouldn't do the same then you should consider distancing yourself. Selfish and not self-aware friends are very difficult to keep in your life without their negative energy taking a toll on you.

tubes vibe was RANCID…..maybe it’s the theater kid in them and wanting to put on a performance for the show but still..6 people don’t drop u for nothing and their vibe during the call was just off…very victim complex-y. 😵‍💫

my manager at Keith and Becky’s favorite V-Day spot stuck his fingers in the honey mustard to lick them ALLLLLL THE TIME and when we called HR she told us it “sounded like he was just joking around to lighten the mood”

RAINEY IS SOOOOOO PRETTY but more importantly, has a heart of fricking GOLD. Will, I hope you are found by a person who appreciates your zest for life, your intellect, and your infectious laugh and that she makes ungodly amounts of quiet corporate money and takes you on trips around the world just for you to wear stained old clothes that she's annoyed with but accepts because she loves you as you are lmao CIAO

I had a dream last night that someone was wearing a hat that said “ciao” and the only logical conclusion my brain came to was that this person was a fan of the wrecking ball crew and so I was like “ciao? Like? Miles & Rainie and Will?” And they were like “OBVIOUSLY YES” As if this was the only reason ANYONE would be wearing something that says ciao. So basically my brain has decided you guys have ownership of a very well known french greeting. CIAO *edit to add that I have been informed ciao is not in fact french but Italian.

Rainie is wise beyond her years!! Her advice to the special education teacher to assess if it's really worth getting credit for a good idea being implemented in a less ideal way. It sounds like the caller does have great ideas and the energy to make a change in these students' lives, but it's definitely a marathon and not a sprint.

The teacher call was so crazy because it’s exactly my situation including being a nepo baby, working with former teachers, and pitching profiles. The only difference is that I’m an ESL teacher lol who knew there were so many of us out there

I hope Tube reads these comments for the wake-up call she needs. Full body cringing at how stereotypical "Mean Girl" you sound with all the purposefully-fake rude giggling (like at 49:20). Like, that is a sound only a really mean, rude person knows how to make.
