In the artillery after phase 1 and 2 do you do much rifle training like on the ranges etc or do you not use rifle much in the artillery

Erm, I think I went on the range once. I did do an exercise where we did section attacks and stayed out over night etc. To be honest you don’t fire on the range as much as what you’d think in the artillery, even when you get to your unit. Maybe like 5 times a year depending on your unit.

@@AvijitDas-ko8lt if you haven't found your answer by now - Kyle's answer is not entirely correct. You can not join off of a working visa alone - There are citizenship requirements: You must be a British or Commonwealth citizen or from the Republic of Ireland. The only exception would be the special arrangement for Nepalese servicemen who are from and remain citizens of Nepal.

If you are clear now, you should be able to get in. Have to be clear for 1 year if no steroids have been prescribed and 3 years if they were prescribed.

@@NA-gf1zy yeah it changed a while back, you still have to pass a spirometry test when at the assessment centre. If you have had steroid inhaler it’s a little different.

Bad eye sight ? It depends how bad it is mate, best thing is to go through the medical process and see what happens I can’t give you an exact answer on this sorry.
