This is why I have been a fan of your channel for years Jay. You are honest. You could have easily skipped that and said “build is done!” But you didn’t. You admitted to your mistakes and you didn’t pretend to be a perfect person like too many KZbinr’s are. Thank you.
@Chuckiele7 жыл бұрын
Indeed, you see situations like this on his channel all the time. Fuckups that can happen but could easily be cut out but he is always absolutely honest, even if it can destroy a good connection to a company. If shit goes down and everyone is arguing about something with tons of bullshit until you wont find any reliable facts anymore, this is the place to go to. In one of his recent videos he asked why so many people would watch an old overweight guy talking about computers and this is absolutely why. In a place like youtube full of lies, clickbait and unmarked product placements, being known for honesty is a major win.

Rookie mistake noticed at 6:30 mark and discovered/fixed at the 7:20 mark A GPU screw wasn't tightened so the water block wasn't making good enough contact with the card. Simple mistake; happens to the best of us. Now we can get back to enjoying the great shots without wrecking your brain trying to figure out what the mistake was.

It's unfortunate that KZbin cares more about how long we watch each video rather than if we watch it at all, so creators are coerced into dragging things out like this and leaving us stuck on cliffhangers to convince us to stick around in the same video long enough for KZbin to be happy with them.
@TheScania19917 жыл бұрын

I’ve made some orders recently at PPCs and am super impressed by their customer service. I added on the wrong fittings and they sent the correct, more expensive fittings for free. They sent my order without the back ordered items as well, and will ship those as soon as they get it. It might not be crazy and over the top service, but even the small things these days aren’t guaranteed. They didn’t need to cover even the couple bucks for my own mistakes, so I’m going to stay appreciative unless it goes south.

Nice build! I'm feeling like going all out with full custom watercooling with smokey liquids after looking at your videos... Once the paychecks start coming in (and I get somewhere to put it) there is an inherent risk that I'll be building something like this myself. For the last 7 years however the old trusty Lian-Li case and H50i closed loop has kept it running, but it's nowhere as aesthetically pleasing as this... Thanks again and keep 'em coming! :)

After looking over CableMod, you're right every "major" PSU is supported but unfortunately my Rosewill Photon 550 full modular isn't so, I have to change my PSU to get the cables I want, but it's a mood point, I'm in the process of upgrading from my AM3+ AMD 6300 6-core to the Ryzen 7 2700X so cables are not really that high up on my priority list at the moment but I'll get there eventually. Anyways, that's a really sick build and major kudos. No big deal on the noob f*** up though man, we've ALL made mistakes like that. You wouldn't be human otherwise, right? And major thanks on showing the Vue coolant because I was considering getting it but I wasn't 100% sure that I wanted it since I had no idea what it would look like but now I do. Thanks alot, Jay.
