As a Tosh fan and someone who has been to TTITD (that thing in the desert) a handful of times I actually think he might really enjoy going out there one year. There is a huge comedy aspect to burning man that isn't talked about all that much and some camps turn trolling and snark into an art form. And while he's correct about electronic music / dj's being the most common I have also seen great live music spanning many genres pop up in camps, even with stringed instruments. A friend of mine directs a huge choir there every year. I think Tosh would appreciate the crew that randomly sneaks up and rolls out a red carpet, paparazzi, and an audience to an unsuspecting person that's been in a porto potty for a while. Fucking hilarious- reactions range from embarrassed to ecstatic.

Old school Toshie here but he is such a good interviewer. Like yes he's a comedian but I'd back him to have a better interview w this person or pretty much anyone else rather than a pedigreed journalist... it's not the gift of gab, he doesn't really have that cuz his BS detector is always on. It's his ability to be genuinely interested in his subject and not judge, whether it's a lady who loves opossums or a blind movie critic or a travel agent to the billionaire class or a dude that makes sculptures in the sand. He's not even that funny. He's just genuinely interested and you can't fake that, and that's better IMO.

Fantastic episode, super interesting guest, good structured questions to get an overview of what they do. Wish it was longer, seems like he must have a ton of cool stories to tell, both from the engineering side of things to the subculture of burning man before it went mainstream. Also loved listening to him talk about working with frozen food and vapes, he seems actually passionate about making both a good product and experience for the end user, that feels unfortunately rare these days to give a crap about
